In terms of quality 2017 had the best songs ever in kpop!

So this is the first time that we got bops not just from one but from 3 generations of groups

The new generation groups are trying everything to get attention by releasing flawless bops and still the groups debuted from 2010-2012 are still going strong and showing who the boss is like BTS (biggest example) but also AOA,Hello Venus..

Even groups that debuted in the last decade like SNSD, T-ara etc we're not playing this year

 

I am so, so happy because this was an amazing year if you look at the songs

Every December I make a list of my top 30 kpop songs of the year but this year I just gave up because they are too many and I couldn't sort it out

 

Thank you for this amazing year to all the kpop groups and I hope 2018 will be even better â¤â¤â¤â¤

2011 - 2014 was the golden era of K-Pop. After that was pretty much its downfall.

 

Also: BTS debuted in 2013 and skyrocketed to fame like, last year. SNSD and T-ara did not debut last century wys

i disagree. my favorite group didn't make a comeback and my other favorite group's comeback songs didn't top their other title tracks. there are bops though

I highly disagree with you. To me this was the worst year in kpop (music wise). Almost all the songs released,sound the same.

2017 will never reach the level of 2016 and that's a fact. So many awesome releases last year, from popular, mid-tier and nugu groups. I hope 2018 can bring back that goodness and get rid of the excessive EDM

we had some very nice comebacks this year like Cross Gene, SF9 and B.I.G

 

but I generally think 2012-2014 were the best years when it comes to songs because while there were some really nice releases this year, there are so many out there that I don't like at all.
