There was Hei Se Hui Mei (or Hey Girl) that debut in 2005 until they disband, they are idol girlgroup. If not, I dont know what to call them with their type of music. Nowadays there are Populady have that image and music wise as an idol . By2 is another one. Taiwan is popular for idol compare to the rest of Chinese-speaking countries that sing in Mandarin. Not necessary a group, but solo idols. S.H.E is the only girlgroup that I don't considered as an "idol girlgroup". They are way to recognize for their talents and achieve so much in Mandopop.
