With only a few minutes left until the 22nd December is really over as the clock strucks twelve in the latest time zone on earth, it looks like this post of mine is gonna wrap up all global activities celebrating Moonbyul's birthday this year.  Glad I could make it in the end, and what, did you believe for one second I would let this extremely important day slip by without writing another essay for her? 

 

I've spent the past half a year singing praises for Moonbyul's looks and talents in the forms of many, many, many threads :P (to the point that it actually got some people here strangely pressed; that's still such a peculiar episode ) , so today I want to briefly focus on the more substantial side of her as a person, and bring to you some instances where her kind, caring and observant personality does all the speaking for itself (while I'll just stand in the back with proud and watery eyes) 

 

 

This is a post I randomly found that I thought would be a great illustration for the point I'm making:

 

 

Sometimes, the perfect boyfriend/girlfriend material comes in the form of a woman, and this time, it comes in the form of MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul!!

 

There are times when the best way to know the true personality of a celebrity is through the numerous videos and photos that are taken of them while they’re not 100% aware. This time, Moon Byul was captured in a series of videos and photos that showed her in the most perfect light.

After going in front of Solar, Moon Byul waits for her to catch up at the bottom of the stairs. She sends Solar up first due to her skirt. Then, she covers her skirt… wow..

 

 

Look at her manners.. I think it is because she has two younger sisters. Her manners just come out naturally.

 

 

Of course we can't forget that moment in IDOT where the thoughtful and observant leader was looking out for D.ana and tried to help her shy hoobae get more attention and let her voice be properly heard

Surely one must be a some sort of gentle and understanding soul who's got great patience and empathy to have another person trust them so much with their hardships and actually shed tears in front of them?  I myself have never been able to have the chance to comfort another human being at one of their weak moments like this before, and I can only speculate just how kind and caring Moonbyul must be to those close to her that they could completely confine in her like this.

 

 

Now this is a more subtle moment between Moonbyul and Hani, but I was really impressed when I first watched it and now can't leave it out

 

They hadn't become friends for very long at that point and yet she still managed to remember so many trivia details about her new friend?  If that doesn't speak volumes about how observant Moonbyul is and how she naturally takes notes of everyone around her as a way of showing care for them even when she has just recently met them, then I don't know what is.

 

 

But you know what, don't take my words for it.  Many people have voiced their good opinions about Moonbyul's personality that they experienced first hand, so I can't be too far off even with my stan goggles on

Tbh, I could probably fill this whole post up with only Moonbyul's thoughtful and heartfelt fancafe memos to Moomoos who are struggling with their problems (ngl those words also helped me get through many tough times myself), but that would drag this supposedly 'brief' thread on forever because Moonbyul has written a lot of messages over the years.  You could tell that she treasures her fans tremendously and would go to great lengths to show just how much she loves Moomoos, both intentionally AND unintentionally.  Remember the mug a fan gifted her all the way back from Mamamoo's debut that she's still keeping and using even until now?  It's those sweet little gestures like that that keep her fans (read: me) so weak for her all the damn time 

The actual cutie also had great ideas this year to surprise her fans with a little treasure hunt of multiple pictures left at various billboards promoting her birthday, which spell out "Cutie, I live because of you" to Moomoos when put together as a sentence.  Let's rewatch her video documenting her adorkable antics one more time, and here's to hoping for another healthy and prosperous year ahead for the brightest Star in our universe  :
