STOP Using Jonghyun's Death to Defend your Bias

What you are doing is taking advantage of the situation in the absolute vilest way possible. I am sick to my stomach with some of the comments I have read here lately, one of them being a thread I was shown hours ago, and I can not stop thinking about it.

The thread in question was one about a SuJu member making a rape joke, and he was rightfully getting criticized. Soon after, ELFs streamed into the thread with "uhhhhh... someone died so u shouldnt talk abt this!1!!!" in order to take the attention off the issue.

And of course, a moderator with a SuJu badge waltzes in and closes it.

I have never been so disgusted in this community. Gather yourselves and cut this shit out. Jonghyun was a person, not a fucking scapegoat for your bias' shitty behavior.

Absolutely agree with everything you're saying. They are turning his suffering and death into a weapon for their fanwars. I've seen multiple fans from various boygroups use it (you all know who). STOP.

And I want either an explanation or apology from that moderator because this behavior is frankly, unacceptable.

Can kpop fans in general also stop using his death to praise their idol? congratulations, your idol went to greet their senior, someone they most likely looked up to, that is such an amazing thing to do and yes your idol is so amazing. No but honestly, I appreciate each and everyone who went to pay their respects to Jonghyun, but that's a personal thing to do, not something for fans to boast about.

Please please please stop spamming Jonghyun hashtags with boasting about your own idols, thank you

I do agree, people don't need to use Jonghyun's death like that. It's disrespectful

Also...i thought the thread got locked because the discussion turned into a fight?

But then again I didn't get a chance to really read it, I only found it because it got reported, so please correct me if I'm wrong

"weaponized victimization"

thank you.

Thank you for saying this.

same.

I unfortunately see this becoming common over the next year in order to shut down any criticism someone has over an idol.

i fel that too.
