Do you think fromis_9 is going to hit big?

Fromis_9 is new girl group formed throught Mnet Idol School and is composed of 9 members.The groups who is going to debut next year have started their pre debut promotion perfoming in music shows and modelling for some magazines. They have even get two CF's. So do you think they have chances of hitting big and why.

Domestic wise, I would say there is a big possibility. Their debut song is so nice to listen to and the performance was good ! International wise, people are picky, so 50/50?

In Korea and for me personally I think they'll do quite well, internationally nah but that's cause most international people who are "into" kpop only seem care about bts and boy groups in general and just say girl groups are "all the same" or "too girly" or some other comment to just disregard them

Possibly. Having a predebut show and fanbase puts them in a much better spot than 90% of new girl groups(aside from big 3). Plus, CJ/Mnet seems to be pushing them a lot.

It depends on the songs but it's already starting pretty well with their MAMA appearance. They could reach the top 10 girls group in a few years maybe if they keep growing.

The show wasn't really popular.. well not pd101-tier.. i guess it's around the same level as Boys24, so they could have some success since they are backed up by Mnet.

They have the potential and the pre-debut push. Now it's only about time, bops and no one messing up; So, yeah, they can hit big enough, at least current NGG tier, hopefully more.

tbh, I was skeptical about this group but with the right song, timing and strategy they will be big someday. They will get there step by step. I have a feeling that they will have the same situation with snsd before they got really famous with gee.

 

edit: to be specific, I was skeptical with the line-up and their debut song before it was released but when I saw them perform glass shoes in mama, I fell in love with the song and members. I like how each one of them shone brightly and no one was left out (with lines, center positions, and screen time).

With right song, timing and strategy they can hit big. Idol school isn't as popular as PD101, so i guess their Korean fandom will be bigger than their international fandom at first.

Considering Glass Shoes isn't even their debut song and people seem to like it Imma have to say maybe, not necessarily top group but mid tier or upper mid tier level success?
