While singing "Meaning of You" at the Kakao Games Year End Party event tonight, she suddenly broke down in tears... She rarely cries in public so please do leave her lots of supporting messages on her ig! She must be physically and emotionally drained right now after losing one of her closest friends... And with her busy schedule I'm worried she won't have the time to process it all. IU rarely even cries in public, be it in front of her fans or even when she receives huge trophies or gets into big controversies...but this is a shock and she properly broke down today. I feel so bad for her and hope her loved ones are comforting her rn. IU does not like to show her emotions but that's grieving for the most part, sometimes you will just cry over mundane things. It comes in waves. She must be hurting so badly but cannot express anything because of her ever busy schedule. So do what she does best, express her feelings and pain through her music.
