2017's monthly music related key words and topics according to BizEnter

So BizEnter released music related key words that represented each month of 2017 :

 

January : Wonder Girls

 

The girl group Wonder Girls have officially disbanded. From the "Tell Me" syndrome, their American debut to their last title song the past year "Why So Lonely", Wonder Girls career was filled with dramatic moments. Members have gone their separate ways, but just like Ye-eun, who said " The Wonder Girls are family, lives and dreams, " their legend will always hover around.

 

February : Music Charts

 

This is about the new charting system. No need for me to translate it lol

 

March : China

 

This is about THAAD and its affects on the music industry, again no need for translations lol

 

April : Winner

 

Winner, who was troubled over the withdrawal of former member Nam Tae Hyun, quickly gained popularity this year with the song "Really Really" released in this year's April. It follows the tropical sound which was very popular this year without losing their identity. This was definitely the "Comeback Of The Year"

There was also smth about Seungyoon and Jinwoo's voices but i couldn't understand sorry.

 

May : Sistar

 

The girl groups Sistar announced their disbandment on May. Known for their sexy and daring concepts, they still showed different concepts with their songs. It's hard to imagine the next summer without a Sistar release.

 

June : Twice

 

Over the past two years, the growth of the girl group Twice was phenomenal. Their popularity exceeded that of idol groups. Their domestic popularity even helped them to break through in Japan. They made their official Japanese debut in june and once again proving their popularity by breaking previous records. 

 

July : Lee Hyori

 

Singer Lee Hyo-ri made her first comeback in four years. The opinions on her music are divided, but the story of her new album, " Black, " suggests that no one can imitate her.

 

August : Wanna One

 

Boy group Wanna One became a monster in the Kpop world very fast. A lot of producing companies are also trying to create a second W1 after their huge success.

September : Kim Kwang Seok

 

I'm not sure about this since idk about his story but it's about his daughter's death being cleared and smth about his wife too...

 

October : SNSD

 

What would be the fate of SNSD ? Members Seohyun, Tiffany and Sooyoung decided not to renew their contracts with SM Ent. Sooyoung and Seohyun are expected to focus on acting for the time being, while Tiffany is spending time in America. Their promise of a "non disbandment" is the biggest drive to support Girls ' Generation now.

 

November : Red Velvet

Thanks OP for the translation. Just want to add the Jinwoo Seungyoon line. It said "Jinwoo's tone that makes the chorus and Seungyoon's discerning ability in recognizing Jinwoo's tone, both shone brightly" And the first line before they wrote about Taehyun is "The Victory of producing"
