I mean, you really think the companies don't have a psychologist or something like that?

 

Considering the stigma around mental illness in South Korea and the fact that Jonghyun was seeing a doctor who made him feel that he was at fault for having depression, no I don't think companies have psychologists. Companies over work their artists to the point of fainting and barely let  them go on holidays or see their families, so why would they hire a psychologist to take up time away from practising and schedules which would affect the companies income?

actually there are some companies that do provide psychologists for their artists. I've seen some users post which companies they are in some of the threads about Jonghyun.

 

do these really work?

in a few cases, but generally, no. Plus, the petition is in English and I doubt they'd pay attention to a petition that's not even in their native language, Korean.
