Edit: Idk but from what i've observed these past few years, I think the media are still given permission to be at the funeral hall premises during the wake/memorial. They may or may not have the family's permission, but I've never really heard the family of the deceased Korean celeb complain about it as well? Idk it's weird for me too but it's probably because the memorial is open to the public as well... Edit 2: The funeral on Thursday (December 21), when they will lay him to rest, will be private so I guess the media will be banned on that day. They deserve their privacy. it is important to note that this isn't his official funeral though, this is for fans to pay their respects. I appreciate all the idols showing up to do so as well.
