I thought it would be nice to have a general thread to let out all the compliments, not just for your biases but for those who you don’t regularly talk about or think about.

And to soooo many more. Idols in general are here for us and to make us happy while doing what they love. Even if they won’t see this, spreading positivity is a good step in moving forward.

Kyulkyung - i am proud of her accomplishments from making it through produce 101 into the group IOI, then becoming a dancing and visual queen in pristin, and lately training future idols as a dance mentor. She is truely talented with pipa, dancing and singing. 

Gfriend - Slaying with hard choreo and songs while working hard 

KARD - Coming out with endless amounts of tropical house songs, touring worldwide and having such funny personalities

IU - Love her angelic voice and how she is so successful with her longevity and everything

Chungha - Grateful for her successful debut with the song "why don't you know" and anticipating her comeback

LOONA - Beautiful shots in their music videos along with visual members

V and Guanlin - my friends have been making me like them more lately with their cute personality and talent

irene: your personality is one of my fave things about you. many call you robotic and boring but i love it. i didn't think there would ever be an idol i relate to as much as i do with you. seeing you be so shy yet so strong has helped me come out of my bubble as well.

Not aimed at any idol in particular, I just think every single idol works so hard, and I hold so much respect for them. Regardless of my personal bias, I really do admire every single idol so much for going out and chasing their dream, for working as hard as they do and for putting themselves out there as much as they do. It takes so much courage and endurance to enter a field of work as difficult as this and they have to withstand so much criticism. Everything they do for us, all they love they give us, entertainment and their hard work, I just want to thank them from the bottom of my heart.

 

I also respect trainees so much. Even those that don't debut, those that decide this field is not for them, I admire them so much for giving their dream a chance.

EXO is a very strong group, they have a lot of pressure on them but they remain humble and hardworking. I was very touched that they prepared a "fan-project" for EXO-Ls last year, it is lovely to see an idol group who cares so much about their fans

 

I also want to compliment SHINee, they are a very talented hardworking group, even if some fans feel they don't get the recognition they deserve, they never fail to deliver quality music and performances. a one of a kind group, I hope they are comforted during this time
