Bashing and trolling other people's fandom will be back. Instead of screaming back across the divide of the internet,I propose that our response to bashing should be "Remember Jonghyun". Positive criticism is not a bad thing, but bashing should become something of the past.Any thoughts? (Edit: I see by some responses I was being too narrow in my thoughts. I don't think you were thinking wrongly, when something like this happens, it is easy to think at first "words/bashing can hurt" because in western suicide cases, we usually hear about cases or cyberbullying or real life bullying, and may think it applies here and you aren't wrong But remember that depression doesn't have to have anything to do with bashing, he had a lot of pressure, he felt that he wasn't as good as he could have been. Even if maybe he took words to heart from bashing, I think his issue is a bigger issue as to why he took his own life. So rather than this be our response to bashing, this can be our response to idols speaking out on depressing issues and offering them as much support as we can Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
