HATEmeCUZyouAINTme 1,853 Posted December 18, 2017 Share Posted December 18, 2017 I don't know how I feel I don't know why Jonghyun case is affecting me But today, I've learnt a lot about life, about depression and it's consequences. I've never fully empathized with depression. To me, depression was one of the psychiatric symptoms I had to learn in school. SIG-E-CAPS, that was it. It was a question on the exam that I had to check off all the boxes to diagnose and memorize the treatment( both pharmacological and therapy wise). Today, I have more understanding about it's real life consequences. I can see how all the boxes I check on paper actually look like in real life. I went back and read most of Jonghyun's self-composed lyrics and you can certainly see a pattern there. One where most people overlooked thinking it was just a 'musical direction' I feel a certain sense of dread that this could actually be happening to people around me and I may not have noticed. My friends and I joke all the time about how med school is depressing us but I feel weird now thinking that maybe, just maybe, one of them wasn't really joking. I wanted him to live to go and have doctor assistance, to talk about it. SM is big, they could find someone to help him. I wanted him to live to go through a treatment. I really wanted him to live... SM and DSP (never forgot Sojin) should be looked at imo.....but nah SM is gonna drop a comeback teaser of nct/exo/rv/who ever and then its back to acting like an Idol of a successful group didn't just commit suicide under their management.
