One of the ost caught my attention immediately: stand by me by SHINee. I decided to check the group out and that is when I fell in love with kpop. And my ultimate bias at that time was none other than Jonghyun. He seemed kind, lovely, handsome plus he sang well. Over the years, I stanned other groups but had a soft spot for them. And I liked Jonghyun as a musician. So this news..it literally feels like I’m getting punched in my stomach and my heart is ripping out. Dealing with depressionand attempting suicide, I can understand a bit with how much pain he must have been. His mind and heart, I sincerely hope he is more at peace. And I hope people realize that you cannot judge by someone’s appearance. They may look happy on the outside but you don’t know what they’re battling with on the inside. Treat others the way you want to be treated: kindness and respect. I want to send hugs to his family, friends, and his fans. And hugs to everyone who is feeling heartbroken right now. Then I lose interest in Kpop and eventually got back to Kpop through other idols. SHINee was my first kpop bias group too and I still remain attached to them until now. I saw Jonghyun growing as a human being and an artist and even though I can't understand what he has gone through I just wished someone had been there for him and listened to all his pain.
