GEM's Murakami Rana and Iyama Maho to go on Indefinite Hiatus

About a month ago, members Murakami Rana and Iyama Maho were had dinner with a kouhai named Renya. This happened on the same night when management had released an announcement about Rana's SHOWROOM event cancellation. Both members had tweeted about how they felt frustrated about the cancellation and that they would work hard from then on.

Online, fans found Rana and Maho on Renya's Instagram story and a heated debate started amongst the fans. They felt that Rana and Maho were not sincere enough about their apologies their tweets, and they were only having fun eating yakiniku with a guy instead.

 

Eventually, more rumors started popping up about both Rana and Maho allegedly having a relationship with other guys (none of which were actually proven though). 

 

Today, an official announcement was made about their indefinite hiatus for "contract violation".

Most GEMILY on twitter are now angry mobs on twitter blaming management for everything. I am one too. 

This is got to be the worst way to handle a scandal ever. 

I feel bad for all the members. This is just honestly out of hand.
