redheart 7,440 Posted December 17, 2017 Share Posted December 17, 2017 let me give you my 2 cents about this even if you didn't ask for it Being humble is giving yourself credit and being proud of your achievements without thinking that you're better than anyone else, or that anyone is inferior it's recognising worth in regards of your achievements but also in regards of anyone else's That being said I think it's pointless to constantly try to convince others about your favs worth in order to get their validation because yeah, you can hate it as much as you want but at the end of the day this is all about validation you can push facts and numbers (sales/views/downloads/streaming) as much as you want but these achievements will inevitably leave some people indifferent not necessarily because they are haters/salties but because they don't give much importance to said achievements that's why they come up with the whole "X did it first" intending "X's achievement is way more impressive to me your fav's are nothing special" And a plethora of other arguments "it's only bulk buying, mass streaming" "they don't have GP's recognition" etc So y'all should just be happy for your favs and celebrate them and ignore all the rest yes I know I'm saying this but I don't even do it myself Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All I cared about was Jongdae and then Mina but after being here, reading all these threads I started becoming obsessed with sales and shit which I hate myself for. It's like I actually like other groups and their songs but then a part of my brain is like "No honey no." Which is probably why I don't go on as often here and rather go to twitter (Which is another cesspool of hate Holy Sh8t) but at least it doesn't have long ass threads to pull me in and I can go back to my comfortable detachment of Kpop.
