The idea of selling rat meat is just absolutely insane to me but these also look like wild rats caught on the fields which means they're probably infested with god knows what. A rat isn't inherently acting as a reservoir of disease just by existing though obviously the chance is there, and I imagine the likelihood of it carrying something terrible drops if it's a rat not from the city and then it has close to the same risk as catching and eating other random wild animals. If it's being prepared right and cooked thoroughly, I wouldn't be so scared of it. At any rate, I don't think it's right to judge and look down on people for eating such things. I've seen small ones in huge af jars soaking in idk what for consumption. People eat whatever they want. As long as nobody is forcing me to eat it, I don't care.
