Freaking awesome! but not for everyone (it's darker than usual, even the humor is darker and it's longer than the usual 1 hour episodes). I would watch it even if Kang seungyoon was not part of it although it is definitely a plus that he is there. Like the comments said, the drama discusses the grey areas between absolute good and bad and the perceptions surrounding it. All of the characters, prisoners and officers, are not what they seem at first. Romance is not the most important part of the drama, so it successful avoids a lot of the cliches that Korean dramas are commonly associated with. The humor is tight in my lane and I love it but there are also dark moments. And then 2017 happened, he auditioned for a role in this drama and then eventually got a role. He did that. Also, I'm so grateful that the entire cast are just perfect. Sometimes, when I see knetz hating Idol who are not good at acting, I come to realize that one of its aspect of them being poor in acting is probably because they have such bad directing. Gives me a lot of OITNB vibes when they do flashbacks of the inmates. And aaaah Krystal’s character in it is soooo cute I love her and the MC.
