As much as I feel as though 7 months is practically NO time for a group with such potential & talent like JBJ to be promoting, I also feel concerned about how the rest of the members' respective groups will be managed in the meantime. The same way theyre handled now.Take Topp Dogg for example, I really hate to say it since theyre is one of my ub groups, but theyre not doing great now at all. No hes technically still in topp dogg and jbj was supposed to be only temporary similar to wanna one and ioi, however I wouldnt be surprised if he ends up leaving topp dogg. It's some hope and I'm really glad. What if some members are taken out of JBJ by their agencies, though? I don't see that working out. Noh Taehyun: HOTSHOT is really split up right now. Sungwoon is obviously in Wanna One. Timo and Hojung are doing well on The Unit and have a high chance of making the final group. San is getting minor MC gigs and Junhyuk is... idk, composing? Either way, he should get more time with JBJ, because HOTSHOT can't really come back anyways. That being said, Star Crew is utterly incompetent and stupid, so I don't know. Takada Kenta: Unless Star Road wants to debut him soon (do they even HAVE trainees?), I don't see why he would be taken out of JBJ. Kim Sanggyun: Who knows if he's in or out of Topp Dogg? What if Hunus wants him out to do something with them, or what if he's leaving TD for good? No idea at the moment. Kim Yongguk: Maybe CHOON wants to put full focus on Longguo&Shihyun?? I don't see it but maybe? Kwon Hyunbin: He's the one I'm most worried about... YG K+ might put him out as a model/actor and end his idol career. I hope they hold off on doing that. Kim Taedong a miracle is needed to bring my darling F -> A trainee into JBJ... I miss the OT7 we never got... FCK YOU MAJOR NINE! Kim Donghan: OUI might want to debut him with other OUI Boyz... but Jo Sungwook went into acting and Jang Daehyun is currently with RAINZ, plus Donghan is one of JBJ's most popular at the moment (I'm pretty sure), so he stands to benefit a lot by staying. And for all of these possible problems... the contract, unlike W1's, allows for promotion outside of JBJ anyways. So some of these might not be problems. This group is just excellent, a great combination of visuals, talent, personality and very good chemistry between them. And their debut song/MV was one of my favorite this year so far. If JBJ members want to renew and think this is the best for them, I as a fan will support them. Even though it pains me as a TD fan to know that the group is going nowhere. JBJ literally hit gold with Fantasy, they won a newcomer award, all members thrived and got to shine, their music has a clear direction, they're being treated and managed well, and that makes me happy.
