Talk about a blast from the past.

Wonder Girls' 2007 hit song "Tell Me" was recently chosen the best idol hit.Online Research Panel Korea ran a survey from June 26 to the 30th asking voters to pick the song they felt is the best idol song. After 21,955 votes were counted, Wonder Girls' "Tell Me" topped the list with 27% (5866 votes).

"Tell Me", from the group's debut album 'The Wonder Years', is recognized as the song that launched the Wonder Girls into stardom, and the catchy choreography launched a cover dance craze that's still familiar to K-pop fans today.

Big Bang's "Lie" came in 2nd with 20% (4415), and Girls' Generation's "Gee" made 3rd with 19% (4268). Next up was IU's "Good Day" with 7%, Super Junior's "Sorry Sorry", Brown Eyed Girls' "Abracadabra", SISTAR's "Alone", and finally 2NE1's "Lonely".

Is there any other song that you think definitely belongs on the list?

INB4 'Gee' is the song of the decade according to Melon.

I've actually never heard of that song lol.

I disagree, either Abracadabra or Gee should be number one.

The poll is a joke, either way, though

:fyeah:

"Lonely"? I would've thought of Fire or I Don't Care, but not that song.

I agree with the other songs, though (especially Lies). :D

Tell Me set the standard for hook songs in Kpop including Gee, so no.

Gee remains bigger, more iconic and more relevant even to this day than every song on this list though.

lol at some of the replies here. If it wasn't for Tell Me half of the songs on the list wouldn't exist, especially Gee. Tell Me started the whole hook song trend. And it was immensely popular.

It's not legit when your bias is not no.1 or not on the list

Agree with everyone who said WG started the hook song trend. Deserved to be number one.

I'd put KARA's Mister somewhere on the list too.
