It's not even funny how this concerns seems to be a recurring points reported by fans against SM for Red Velvet. Especially that poor Irene who looks very uncomfortable most of the time.

 

But once upon a time it was against SNSD, there were some comments about it on some eras I think it was for Oh when they said the shorts were unecessary shorts.

Guys have nice suits but girls are always exposed. I really don't mind, but I wish there could be a group who's more conservatively dressed, there's no difference in outfits since 'short' is the main aspect.

The first comment is so disgusting. RV got a loooot of female fans, ofc issues like these would be raised. Not everybody is just gonna "fap" especially if some of the members are pulling the clothes down. Wouldn't hurt to make it a few cm longer...

No matter how nice a dress or a pair of shorts looks on me, if I have to pull it down once every 5mins so that people won't be able to see under there, I wouldn't want to wear it anyways. Since they're dancing too the risk of it hiking up is more likely.

irene obviously doesn't feel comfortable tho. I just wish the stylists would at least give her shorts instead of a dress or a skirt, if she has to wear something revealing, so she doesn't have to pull it down all the time.

While, I don't know how RV themselves feel about this, I do hope the girls have very secure safety shorts. The shorts are pretty standard in Kpop, but moving around on stage can make already short outfits feel like no pants.

At the end of the day it's up to the girls' own personal preferences but the concern is valid. Joy seems to like short clothes so she shouldn't change her stage outfits, but based on the pictures on the post it doesn't seem like Irene feels the same way so she should get clothes that make her feel more comfortable.

Ppl should stop dictating what their faves should or shouldn't wear. As long as they're fine with it then it's great.

I've also haven't seen much RV fans making a fuss about their clothes this era, it's mainly non fans using the "short dresses" thing to hate on Joy and some other members...
