1. [+1046, -36] That's a really cool mindset. BTS is rising because they have a great teacher. I hope BTS keeps doing well~

2. [+988, -45] He has a good mindset and talks well. I heard that he's really strict to the artists' personalities. I guess that's one of the reasons why BTS is doing well.

3. [+903, -30] Good mindset. He's leading towards the right way.

4. [+52, -20] Park Jin Young taught his artists English and made them sing in English to advance but flopped hard ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Meanwhile Bang Si Hyuk expanded to the world by Korean lyrics and his Korean system ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Bang Si Hyuk is right and Park Jin Young was completely wrong.

5. [+48, -3] I hope Bang Si Hyuk becomes the top agency.

6. [+44, -5] If it was YG, they would've signed with an American agency and released endless English songs ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

7. [+39, -4] Yeah, not a lot of people understand the lyrics as they listen to English songs. He's cool.

8. [+30, -10] Big blow at JYP ã…‹ã…‹

I highly doubt he meant it as a blow at JYP...They're pretty good friends and Bang Si Hyuk always thanks JYP for the time they spent working together.

It's more like reaffirming the boys wish to work in their native language.

I don't know why it even needed to be said, they're a korean group smh fans are asking too much

An english album or smth def does not guarantee any kind of success in english speaking countries, its best to just stick with what you're good at

Because it would be hard for 2 of the rappers to rap in another language obviously...

To be honest, I feel like bts staying true to their kpop roots helped with their achievements. I think one of the reason jyp/yg/sm's American ventures failed so badly was because they tried too hard to turn their idols into what they think American singers should be like. Se7en in particular had a complete image haul when he debuted in the US and it's so unnecessary because the ones supporting them are still kpop fans.. and the reason they like kpop is because it's kpop. By eliminating all the colorful, tacky nature of kpop just takes away its appeal for a lot of people.

Meh,I actually think it's pretty cool how all the WG were able to learn English to a decent level by their own in such a small amount of time. They may have flopped but nothing wrong with having a new language under your belt. You never know how you could use it in the future. I mean, look at Sunye who now lives in Canada with husband. But I do find it could that BTS is focused on keeping the Korean

they're a Kpop group so they're going to sing in Korean, I thought that was a given?

Nah

People kept saying that BTS are so eager for that WeStERn VAlidAtIon and how they wish that they get shipped to the US so that they can sleep at night

Honest question, why is releasing an english album seen as such a bad thing? You can say it's because they're a Korean group and should stick to their roots, but don't they also release Japanese music too? Same can be said for other groups who do both Japanese and Chinese releases. Why is releasing music in these language looked at differently than English?
