During iKON's 'Idol School Trip', comedian Jung Hyung Don yelled at Yang Hyun Suk to express his love for the group.

On the last episode of 'Idol School Trip' that aired on December 9, Jung Hyung Don received a chance to speak with the founder of YG Entertainment over the phone. The comedian said, "Principal, after finishing up all the scheduled events, we're doing an exit ceremony right now."

 

Yang Hyun Suk replied, "iKON's album is coming out soon, I hope it does well." Jung Hyung Don, not satisfied with the response, raised his voice, "Instead of saying stuff like that, tell them they did a good job and that you love them." Yang Hyun Suk responded, "I don't usually speak with warm words." However, the comedian insisted that the founder of the company make an exception, "Just say it this one time, start," which made everyone laugh.

Aww, that's cute. Hyungdon is really nice, and YG really should say warm words to IKON sometimes, I'm sure they will only benefit from it.

 

I'm seriously starting to warm up to IKON. They all seem like nice, hardworking boys.

I swear there is always someone who negs other people when there’s Yang Hyunsuk slander. Lmaaooo, to that person(s) I cant believe you actually like him.

 

Well these YG stans do love the company more than the artists. They will go stan the next YG group before they drop YG for mistreating their current artists...

Why does he need to tell them he loves them? That seems a bit extra and fake.

 

The concept of the show is that YG is the headmaster of YG High sending iKON on a school trip since they never experienced it bc of training - They called YG at the end of the last episode to give them his last words until they're back at YG that's why Hyungdon was like "say sweet words!! don't threaten them!!!! stop promoting their album!!!!!!!"

If you've seen them on Weekly Idol, I can say that they made a good impression on both Defconn and Hyungdon.

 

I also saw potential for them in Variety Shows because of how their personality works, even if they are just rookies. They have good comedic timing and sense of awkwardness, especially B.I. This makes me wonder how come YG can't see it when I saw potential in just 1 episode. (but then again, this is YG were talking about)

Oh ok, well then that makes sense.. I didn't know the context of the show!

I mean when Bobby actually said YG never praises Hanbin.. kinda gave me an indication that he never praises them.. sad because I'm a firm believer that positive and encouraging words are more beneficial to someone's productivity than lack of them.. or threatening them in YG's case

Awww, iKON has a lot of dads in the industry including Hyungdon and PSY.

 

Looking forward to their comeback. Very interested to see what kind of song and concept it is. A lot of YG producers have spoken highly of it. Can't wait.
