37 songs, 5 HOURS

Kween has vocal cords of steel! I was listening to the livestream and her voice was still stable and beautiful until the last song. ㅠㅠ Her previous Palette tour stops would last for about 4 hours, but since today is the last day of her tour and in top of that was very accomodating to all her fans’ requests, she pushed her limit and lasted for 5 hours! The audience still wanted her to continue but she had to end it since she was already hungry LOL

Her songs are not that vocally demanding.

That is true and she doesn't even dance too much. Plus she does not sing songs like "Last Fantasy" which is very involved.

Although not a KPoppist, Lee Seunghwan regularly has 7-hr concerts. He has been active since about 1988, and he has 70 songs in his arsenal.

this is clearly not true, given the number of people that have tried covering IU songs and struggled.

especially with a song like Good Day--like while I have no problem hitting the 3 high notes since I used to sing soprano in choir (and those notes are common in a lot of repertoire that I've sang for choir), it's being able to sing "I'm in my dream" + sustaining those 3 high notes all on a single breath + belting the notes all at the same time that's vocally challenging. Whenever I attempt singing the song for karaoke I always end up dying and in need of a breath right before the last note whereas IU continues on flawlessly.

And Palette is impossible to sing without using head voice/falsetto.

Add in the fact that she doesn’t even have a solid long rest in between her concert (only an almost 10-minute break whenever her guest performs) on top of singing all these vocally demanding songs just proves that she’s tough af. Non-stop talking for an hour straight is already so tiring for one’s voice, what more if it is singing AND talking with dancing at some parts for 5 HOURS??? Maaannnn. This dude...

...clearly do not know what he’s talking about.

and she also has to do her rehearsals/sound check, too! So it's not only 5 hours of actual concert time, it's also how ever many hours of rehearsal she has to do before the actual concert and from what I saw on the IU TV youtube channel she puts the same amount of effort into her rehearsals as her actual concert.
