I would be awkward if my husband tried to wash my hair. He had an injury once and I had to wash his hair and it was intimate in a weird way, like way deep into realizing the helpless humanity of another person, and we had been married for 12 years at the time. Of course I've washed my kids hair, I've also breastfed them, cleaned up their vomit and changed their diapers. Hairdressers aren't usually kpop idols. To me this is just a replication of a romantic scenarios between a couple, kinda like how a boyfriend dries his girlfriend's hair.
