I've been a fan since 2010 too but it doesn't really change much besides the fact that I've gotten to listen to more kpop music but that's the great thing about them being new kpop fans it's something they can go and explore it's all brand new where as its all something I've already seen so it's actually not a bad thing to be new you get to see things for the first time and get new experiences Let's drop the superiority act shall we? I don't consider myself superior in any way though, even though I am sure I have been a fan longer than 90% of people on this forum (2003.) I even had multiple people tell me there was no way I could have been a fan since 03 and I was lying, because "YouTube didn't exist back then." Smfh. i feel u though i kinda stop keep an eye on every group since 2012 and i find it funny when they say things like 'i've been a kpop fan since 2-3 years ago so i know everything bla-bla' especially those fake arse fan that only know things abt their bias group and turn blind eye on other and act like they're irrelevant. And yes, we do have more knowledge, we’ve been around longer, seen more, and have witnessed more impact than newer fans. These are just facts.
