Friends problems! HELP!

So, you see, Ever since I started my sophomore yr in hs, I have this problem where a certain group of friends (the one I hang out most) feel jealous about another group I'm close with. The problem is, I am still experiencing this in College. It's been 6 yrs! But now with different sets of friends. And it gets frustrating when they are jealous because they make me feel bad for being friends with another group. Like it's a crime. I tried getting on their good side but they are still jelly af. And I'm emotionally tired.

What do you think is the problem with me that I keep getting the same dilemma with different people?

What should I do?

Try siting down and talking to them about why youre frustrated and that being friends with other people doesnt mean you dropping them. If nothing changes stop being friends with them if its so emotionally draining.

Friends are supposed to lift each other up and if theyre not doing that, and theyre unwilling to change their ways, they are not good friends.

Try to make them merge?

both groups do hang out but when done I get nagged sometimes. They both nag. Honestly, separate tho. Like, we're better done them right? Or you're more happy with us. The most sad one I got is: Go with (other group) you like them more blah blah. I got hurt so bad.

Ok, I'll try this. I think a letter was not enough. I gave them one lol I'm just nervous I might say wrong stuff.

Its okay, you can try rehearsing what you want to say if itll make you feel better, but so long as you communicate honestly and non-defensively I think youll be able to get your message across. :)

Thanks, I'm gonna take my sweet time first, though. To plan. Hahaha. I hope what you said happens~

What type of people do you hang out with btw? That makes a huge difference.

They are actually pretty decent people, kind. Follow rules (one time we cut class lol). My friends are really friendly. Just average with strong and blunt personalities. Sometimes, snob, well... we all are. I just don't get why they have an issue. At first, they were joking about it (a year ago?) until I recently learned that they really mean it. I'm assuming they're possessive type. So far, with our 4 years of friendship, they've never been a bad influence. Just very

dirty :3

Maybe you should confront them, ask them why they don’t want you to be friends with other people. I’m really social, but a couple years back I had this friend who would constantly blow me off to go hang out with her crush/the “popular†kids. Maybe they think you’re ditching them?

I didn't think about this one, yet. I'll let you guys know how the confrontation went. It'll be next year though, haha that's when we go back to college. I assume you confronted your friend? How did she take it?

We’re not friends anymore, she sucks lol. But when I confronted her with my other friend she’d call me jealous and lonely. But when I hung out with my other friends she got angry.

Lol who were you friends with in like high school/middle school? I’m still in middle school so like idk lol.

My school's small so everyone knows each except for me I have bad memory lol I'll say, they're the average ones, very chill. Hmmm, they lie between an introvert and extrovert, but sometimes lean on introvert.
