i still don't know tbh.

i'm starting to think ppl just do what they have to do to keep on living and the whole thing about finding your true passion is a privilege for a small portion of people only

also, if you want to switch, and have thought a lot about it, just do it

Not hard

when I discovered BTS i knew from the bottom of my heart that i want to be a dancer

when I started researching about mental illnesses and got diagnosed with some I realized that I want to become a psychiatrist

but its not like life is easy and these choices are practical

No, not very hard at all. I know I will face hardships in what I want to do and the journey there, but I think it will be worth it because it's what I love doing the most.

  i envy your resolution!

U go man

Did a Law dgeee, had no heart to properly pursue it, was miserable the whole time and it spiralled into depression. I'm kinda still picking up the pieces of me in some ways. I wish I'd changed my major, even if I'd failed, I wouldn't have had to live with regret and wasted years like have to now. So take the risk, our hearts get drowned out to often and it will feel better to know you tried and didn't let fear rule you.

it's normal to feel anxiety but remember it's not a life sentence. you can always switch majors, or even graduate and come back and do something else if you don't like what you're doing. and this way at least you'll know what you don't want to do. you have lots of possibilities. as for flopping, i think that's completely in your control. you've got this!

I would be scared tbh. But, you're really going to want to have a job that you don't dread going to every single day, so I'd switch. in the long run you'd be much happier I think

This is me, I'm about to graduate- like literally so close- but I'm thinking about switching my major and I'm pretty sure thats going to set me back. I'm majoring in Psych, but while I love Psych its not my true passion in life- writing is. I want to switch my major to writing to go into script writing, but writing is such a big gamble, despite this I am still going to switch it. Its your life OP, remember that. Yours, not anyone else's, find the thing that makes you happy and go for it.

This is just a kind of questiong but... Just wondering if you could write scripts on the side? I researched it a looong time ago, but apparently that's doable. So, if you could do it on the side until there is consistent work, ultimately you could switch over in the end. Plus still have a decent income for the first few years of trial and error with your backup job in psych

This is a possibility I have definitely considered, but I actually think I'll try my hand at ghost writing first before anything. I have two semesters left to really finalize my decision, so I might just do it that way.
