These girls work very hard and try their best! What have they done to any of us? Other then making us cry tears of joy, making our hearts swell in proud/happiness and making us get up and make out asses pop?! They release bop after bop, amazing sales in all catorgories and (sales, itunes and downloads and whateva the fuck) their incoming songs 'Merry & Happy(?)' & 'HeartShaker' are clearly good well we only know about one so, aha! And maybe what make people hate them is that they are apparently 'overrated'... They literally cannot help being famous.. They debuted they didn't go to Mnet or people in general and say "HEY BITCH STAN ME" because they clearly didn't... Qoute me on this because when I say they worked for it- they worked for it. Versing you're close friends in order to debut must've been heartbreaking... It applies to other groups, not only Twice. We have different music preference so you cannot expect everyone to like their songs. Just enjoy their music,never mind others. It's a simple matter of the title itself; NGG isn't some generic title that's passed from group to group between each generation - the title was literally made for SNSD and bestowed upon them by the general public, much in the same way that IU is the nation's little sister or Yoo Jae Suk is the nation's mc. No one had the title before them, and sones didn't take it upon themselves to call SNSD that. And at the end of the day, it's just a title so I don't get why people are so hung up over it. Twice would probably already have a title of their own if people weren't so obsessed with claiming that one. So by all means, they can be the nation's girl group. Whether they have that title or not won't impact their success. They're fine either way. Edit: Just remembered that the title originally belonged to WG, before people switched over to SNSD lol. Oh crap, thank you both for pointing this out - this actually completely slipped my mind, since WG didn't have the title for that long. I almost forgot all about how people - in their fickleness - practically jumped ship and gave the title to SNSD instead after treating them like nugus when they first debuted. Even so, the second part of my comment still stands, as does the part where I said that it wasn't sones who claimed the title. If the general public decides to give the title to Twice, then so be it. But the Second Generation was responsible for the fame that the groups now a days are experiencing, both locally and internationally.
