They say they went to other countries to get punishments but the truth is......

 

They changed the format and did a 2-episode travel show. Its the new trend in South Korea to do travel shows and it seems you can only get ratings if you transform it into a travel show. Sad.

I'm not surprised. Travel and healing shows are the new trend, look how well Lee Hyori bnb did. Also Wizard of Nowhere on MBC got really high ratings as well and it's a survival travel show. Youth over flowers also did well. Seems like the public enjoy this kind of shows rn.

yes exactly. I already suspected it when Runningman did more and more travel episodes in the begininng of 2017.

 

But can we really blame RM ? They tried every version of Action Games and always got stucked at 7%. Now travel makes them move into double digits so i guess that will be the future RunningMan.

I mean if they pull it off and add their own spin to it I don't see the problem. Tbh my faves RM episodes are when they went overseas, I remember the ones with Lee Dongwook, it was entertaining af. If they're bringing back this feel I might start watching it again.

Yes but those new travel shows dont include much games and fun. They are really just tourists. Nothing like the old classic travel episodes in the first years of RM (Thailand, China, HongKong, Vietnam). This is the style of other Travel Shows. More calm.

 

Anyway, i understand RM doing that.... and if You enjoy that format then i am happy for You.
