I tried it but my mind always wanders off to my problems and anger.

I don't want to drink at all but....

Time to drink >_>

Sorry for posting this here

If I post it on social media I'll receive too much concern. I want people to believe I'm mentally stable.

Fighting Kimberly Seolhyun!!!!

Thank you sweetie

One thing I do at night when I am trying to sleep is I picture myself standing on the edge of a cliff. I put everything I am worrying about, stressing about, into a box and push it over the edge. As each new thought pops up I stick it in the magically re-appearring box, push it over and over and over. I guess it's like a really weird way of counting sheep. lol

Right now though I am drinking wine and watching a drama. lol

Uh, meditation takes time to get into. Ease yourself slowly into it. Just try to shut down the noise in your head for a few seconds, then more. Also, probably try to start with focussing on one point - like draw a black point in a white page and just concentrate on it, letting everything else fall away.

For me, meditation works easiest when I'm most exhausted - like after dancing until I drop. Try something like that - where your body is so tired, your brain cannot work on full steam? Fighting!

Ugh, I wish I could. I have been a mom for 17 years and there were times where I would fall into bed so exhausted I wouldn't even remember falling asleep. But now my kids are all older and I'm not as physically tired and my brain just wont shut off. Sometimes I do yoga at night but it's more for relaxation than exercise, my spine is fused so I have to do modified poses a lot of times.
