  1. 1. Which one hurts more?

    • People think your faves don't deserve the award
    • Your faves don't get the award you think they should

I've been on both sides rn, as a VIP there were many people who weren't happy bb got awards like dance performances etc. Now seeing winner, it honestly break my heart how they comfort their fans afterwards, saying that they're already happy with top 10 bonsang.

So I chose B/no. 2

Cause at the end of the day if your faves won, your faves still got the award, no matter what. Watching how they don't get the awards they deserve (to me), is harder.

''People think your faves don't deserve the award'' I hate seeing people saying Twice don't deserve the awards they get, they work so hard every comeback it's insane... they have had 3 korean comebacks (4th incoming) a japanese debut + a comeback, and a lot of promotions and yet people say they don't deserve the awards like wtf? My heart hurts every time I see people hating on them, ugh. Be respectful.

Why do Winner fans think that Really Really would have won if MMA was giving out awards fairly instead of pandering to armys and exo-ls? You realize IU and Ailee were both there right?

Well someone like you just making me more sad.

If sd can win so can really2, but it wasn't even nominated. Wtv I'm just sad

It's fkng ridiculous Winner didn't get nominated. If these shows were for real, neither exo nor bts would've won an award. It's like they are trying to please the fandoms, so they lose credibility. I'm angry cause Winner wasn't nominated, they deserved it, and IU should've got at least two of the biggest three awards.

Everyone knows BTS and EXOs wins today are illegitimate, MMA pandering to their fandoms so they dont riot. Winner absolutely deserved a nomination as did Knock Knock. IU should have been ArOTY and AOTY with Ailee taking SOTY but Korean award shows have no actual integrity. Hopefully GDA's and SMA's have bigger balls than MAMA and MMA's and actually give out awards to those that deserve them

even a nomination? kokobop was nominated with just 40K streams..lmao

Thay absolutely should have been nominated, same with Twice, but MMA has to pander to the big fanbases so Winner and Twice disappeared and BTS and EXO got nominated

Winner definitely should have got nominated, but to those saying they should have won it instead of BTS are delusional, the only people I can think of that should have won it instead of BTS are IU or Ailee

Edit: Same with Knock Knock, should have been nominated but definitely didn't do better than Spring Day

If it was given to IU or heize, Ics would have taken that loss happily. But the thing is, they gave it to an idol group and Winner or Twice should've won with their records. Also,RR,the most dl idol song this song year did not even get nominated

Really Really and Knock Knock are the most downloaded and streamed idol songs of the year. These two actually got a chance of appearing on Gaon top 10 year end chart dominated by soloists who killed it this year while SD won't.

I 100% agree them and twice deserved to be nominated over exo and bts, i understand the salt about that. But to say they got robbed is ridiculous

Well I hope bts and exo fans are happy with their awards and daesangs knowing that there are others who are clearly more deserving. With mma's criteria IU should have won ArOTY and Aliee SOTY. Also how did kokobop get a nomination over RR,RF,KK or the many songs which did better?

It's not that BTS didn't deserve it, but WINNER technically should have had a higher chance of winning it than BTS. It should have been IU, but if not, Heize, WINNER, Twice, and then BTS, in that order.

What BTS should have definitely won though was Artist of the Year. I found it funny how Melon made that elaborate video showing all of BTS's accomplishments from this year, yet they got Song of the Year. They were definitely Artist of the Year worthy.

IU though, rightfully got Album of the Year.

Artist of the year in MMA is based primarily on digital performance, that award belonged to IU this year, and if she had a rabid fanbase ready to burn the place down if she didnt win, like some groups do, she wouldve gotten her rightful award

People who call ICs delusional for saying that RR deserves SOTY is hilarious. IU and Heize deserves that award but hey look, Spring Day won it anyway, and if Spring Day was nominated and in fact WON, so does Really Really which is way higher than SD in both Streaming and Download. It’s more hilarious to me that few days ago, people are standing up on RR for not winning at MAMA and look at here, Armys are against RR being a total more deserving Winner or SOTY lmao. FCK off

No idols deserved it, Really Really winning would have been much more tolerable and less of a joke than Spring Day but still a joke none the less with Ailee and IU sitting right there. Everyone knows BTS won because MMA's are a joke and pandering to armys so they dont go riot.

BTS had a higher chance because of their longevity, Melon has stated before that longevity is more important than a song which does really well at the start, but falls down the charts soon

both RR and KK did really well, but their longevity wasn't as good as SD

also you can't use the Gaon numbers when it comes to the MMA, it's only the Melon numbers that count
