The MV's concept is admittedly not my cup of tea; it's rather sketchy and iffy, which could explain the not-so-hot reception to it at the time 

 

 

but the song is an absolute bop that got buried in Kara's impressive discography ;(

There's something really epic about it that I don't know how explain very well, like it's really 'full' and satisfying to listen to.  I still periodically jam to it from time to time after all these years

Slightly off-topic...I wish KARA performed this song. Not only do they ace dance songs but ballads are also one of their fortes

I definitely agree. I was always sorry it was overshadowed by Mister. If they had been released separately I think it would be a more strongly and more fondly remembered song.

lupin is also another bop, but I think it did get a certain amount of attention, at least for awhile.  

meanwhile wanna didn't generate a lot of buzz at the time of its release, it never comes up in discussion and doesn't really stick in people's memory as one of kara's greatest hits, even tho it is ;(

actually no because if im not mistaken, they halted their promotion and only promoted it for less than a week

that's worth taking into consideration I guess. 

but personally, in my experience, out of 10 people who knows about kara, maybe 5 of them would have heard of lupin, while at most 1.5 would actually be aware of wanna's existence, so..

what's sad is that Wanna was their title track and Mister is the B-side additional comeback song but Mister overshadowed Wanna completely and became KARA's most iconic song

 

 

KARA's most underrated song is still Break It imo. it's sooooo good but no one knows it :/
