I think it's because I'm a pre-service teacher so I kind of see the good in every teacher some way or another. I'm not a minor btw, I mention it just in case. I also hated my chemistry teacher back in highschool, she was a mean person and would make us feel bad about ourselves when we made mistakes. Once one of my friends had a different result from her, my friends was right, but she made fun of her. Like she would get mad at me for typing too slow, she would yell at me for twirling my hair, yell at me for getting my crayons out when I didn't need them, random stuff like that that wasn't hurting anyone and that did not matter at all. Khyler 293 Posted December 2, 2017 Share Posted December 2, 2017 Yeah just generally teachers that are teaching because it was their second option, or they don't know their passion or they need to find a job and do a messy job and get pump off easily by students and are not funny and are very boring. I can understand them at some point because life aint easy and you gotta survive too, but you gonna need to step up a little bit for you students too. We have more quizzes and our mid-year test was harder, with more questions and less time. It's worth to mention that we have this subject only during our first year but it's the easiest to fail because of difficult terminology and theory. About my previous schools, I hated only one teacher - a woman who taught Russian and enterprise basics on the first high school grade. Since I was in German group, I only had EB with her - but even back then, she was a terrible person. She didn't pay attention to students (since she prefered to focus on people from advanced Russian classes) but still required us to know the whole book. Also, during tests, she liked to divide class into two groups - one had 30 minutes for writing and the other only 15 (including rewriting questions from the board). My boyfriend was in Russian group - but because of health problems around second grade, he left a lot of classes (which were after regular class hours) to visit doctor, etc. The teacher got angry with his lack of knowledge and started treating him worse/with no respect even towards his parents. I remember one situation when she told our homeroom teacher that we're doing inappropriate things during breaks (when we were just hugging). So our first project we did bad (mind you we only had two projects all semester. two grades only) and she pointed out things that we did wrong or didn't do. He always forgot what he had taught and what he hadn't taught. Literally one week before the final examination, he realised he didn't teach a large part of the syllabus. I mean it made no difference to me because I gave up listening to the teacher and finished studying the syllabus already, but it did affect my friends...
