I work part-time in a Japanese restaurant as a server and hoping to move out of serving within the next year since being a server/any front-facing customer service position does not go well with my introverted nature. I only got this job because I was unable to land anything else. My coworkers and managers are cool, but it's exhausting having to scream scripted Japanese phrases into the air at the top of your lungs every 2 minutes over 5-6 hours (and we're required to scream those due to the nature of our restaurant).

I majored in psychology and I currently work at a drug rehabilitation center & psychiatric facility as a clinical staff/counselor. It's inpatient, I spend 4 straight days a week there, rooming with the patients and other staff members. It's really interesting, so much goes on inside. I've met all sorts of personalities and I got to understand myself better... the downside is that I can't go home/out until my shift ends and it's sometimes it feels like you're being incarcerated / being in the army as well since the rules are so strict.
