I don't want someone to convert to my relgion because I am in that religion, that seems stupid. If someone isn't Christian and I am, then I doubt we would date even if they said they may convert. I want someone who is Christian or at the worst Catholic, anything else I think wouldn't be a good idea if I was thinking in the long run of the relationship. paprikaa 1,672 Posted April 11, 2014 Share Posted April 11, 2014 don't plan to marry someone thinking you can convert them. if they are religious you only have a slim chance they do that for you because 'why are aren't you the one converting?' they have to know religion can be an issue before starting something serious anyway, i wouldn't date seriously someone who is a different religion because it causes troubles that i can avoid by not to. casual dating is fine i guess but i don't recommend if religion is important to you.
