I have samsung but a very old version that is lasting for four years so far and is in still good condition with a few memory and heating problems. It also not bad since I can download pdf and surf the internet. But I think the newer versions seem nice since they are waterproof with a wide screen. I'm not sure about the specific technical stuff though.

edit after reading people's: I dropped mine 20 times with a good case and it only has a small dent

I have a note 3, it's great. Still holding up quite well even though the phone is 4 years old. The only issue is some rare lag.

I want to get a Note 8 but spending a grand on a phone is a bit much so I might wait until the Note 9 is out and get the 8 cheaper. Or just get an S8 or S9.

And yeah it barely has a scratch despite me having dropped it quite a few times over the years, although the flip case might have helped.

I love Samsung phones.

I had a S5 FOREVER and I absolutely abused it (fell in toilet) and dropped it all the time w/o a case.

I recently upgraded to the S8+ and I love it all the same.

They're really sturdy, so that's what I like the most b/c I am clumsy af with my phone.

Depends which ones. Until like the s6 the software let down the phones which were featured packed, sometimes really badly. Samsung would put their own custom OS layered on top of android and as a result it was always slower and more bloated than stock android. Updates were a nightmare too, very slow and out of date.

Now overall I'd say they're the best phones out there. You get all the features and build quality of Samsung but with a much more usable OS (less of Samsung's crap in there).

I had a Galaxy. I'm very careful with my phones so it never got any scratches or anything because I never dropped it and it had a lifeprof case.

It worked well for a couple months until it unexplained broke, Like I was using it normally, put it in my pocket then five minutes later I take it out and the screen went illegible and just went poot. I'd never get another one.

I've had the galaxy s3, galaxy alpha, and now the galaxy s7 and i've loved them all. i definitely recommend sumsung phones. if you're not sure about getting their flagship phones, they have a shit ton of affordable mid range phones that essentially do the same thing for less money, and chances are since there are so many phones they come out with you'll find at least one that'll fit your preferences and needs.

the only thing i hate is the bloatware that's engraved into the phone, but they've allowed you to disable the apps you don't use, so i think that helps a little. i think over a few years the phones tend to slow down and get really laggy with each software update and update of apps (it's the main reason i upgraded from my alpha to the s7, but then again the alpha was more of a guinea pig phone), but it think samsung has been getting better with that over the last few generations of their phones.

I have the Note 8 after recently trading in my iphone 6s plus (I hate Iphone btw) I've had the Note 3 and 4 before as well and theyre great for multitasking and have impressive battery life considering all it can do. I definitely recommend Samsung plus with the Note series the stylus is fun to use with the coloring app and writing notes

If you want, you can watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rD37VVMda88 Its the keynote for the Note 8 and it goes in depth as to what it can do and gives a little more insight into what the note series can do and the S series is very similar just no stylus.

I have a galaxy s6 and I really like it. It is 2 years old, not one scratch & looks and acts the same as when I first got it. granted I always have a case on mine and am good about not dropping it. The camera actually takes quality pics and the audio is good. I personally prefer the way the apps look on mine as compared to the iphone. I do recommend it if you don't mind an android system. I would be nervous abt the note one that was blowing up but there are other versions you can get anyway.

I find Samsung products to be reliable so I like their phones.
