Criticism arises from a point of desire to see the topic/person being critiqued improve - which is diametrically opposed to hate. Also, dislike comes from a justifiable cause, like an issue like racism, homophobia etc. you cannot forgive or even plain distaste eg. nasal voiced singing. Mister Dove 10,782 Posted November 26, 2017 Share Posted November 26, 2017 hate is such a strong and unhealthy emotion and i don't see why we should encourage such a thing with no reason? but i wish people in OH would learn to be more open to criticism against theirs faves and opposing opinions. the amount of sensitivity and defensiveness is getting ridiculous and it is very stifling how we can't express the most basic negative opinions about a song or a performance without getting personal attacks thrown back at us. this dependability on and need for validation from others' opinions is very unhealthy.
