Eunji trained at a vocal academy. Not only her. Too Many others trained at vocal academies when they were not signed to the companies they are today. Some of them still have lessons with the teachers they had at the academy they were before debut. CHENLE was a professional singer with tv appearances, music releases and live performances in China with his singing skills being praised before debut in South Korea. He had vocal training before South Korea. Chen, Baek, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook trained at vocal academies or have private singing teachers. Most vocalists who did not went to vocal academies before debut are having lessons at them or with private singing teachers besides the training they have at their company WHEN they think the training at company is not helping. Fans truely believe these idols come to the company without training beforehand and believe the company build them up during this short period of training when it's not truth. I'm not sure about Chen but Baekhyun was only about to go to music school when he was casted. IIRC it was when he was practicing for the entrance exam so he may have had experience singing in his highschool band but he had no professional training (which is why he had to change his whole technique when he trained in SM) Edit: I think the whole point isnt that theyre implying that the company trained them from scratch and made them this talented in such a short amount of time buthe fact that they were talented enough to not require as much training as other idols Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Well Huang Renjun who also debuted in NCT Dream with Chenle after less than a year really didn’t have any prior professional training as far as we know, he just sang and danced in school productions!
