I’ve been waiting for a Namseok ask, they are literally my brotp. Why does no one ship them? Yet at the same time the t̶h̶r̶e̶e̶ people who do ship them get it, they understand why they are such a special pairing.

Namjoon as a whole isn’t very skinshipy, hes up there with Yoongi for how little physical contact he initiates. So unless your really looking for the Namseok you don’t really notice it, but since I give m complete focus to Hoseok and his surroundings during every videos he’s in I notice his interactions with the other members. And his ones with Namjoon look so natural and friendly, for me they are one of the ships that I’d like to observe off camera, they seem close in the way that you don’t have to be talking to them to know they care, who could just sit in a room doing there own thing and be completely comfortable. And when you think about all the hours the rapline in particular must spend recording and writing its highly likely they do.

Though most of there moments together were pre/early debut, they can still be found today.

They tease each other first and foremost, not as much as Yoonseok do but its definitely there. The 2nd anniversary video is one of my favourites, and makes me endlessly wish they stood/sat next to each other more because every time they do its gold. From the Up and Down dance and Namjoons imitation to Hoseok teasing Joonie for the members forgetting about his wish. If you watch it just focusing on the two it great.

 

 

Another good example was the I Need U naver starcast broadcast and Namjoon trying to make Hoseok say brassier again. It won’t let me link it but search on YouTube and it will come up.

And the Go BTS in the US is wonderful from Hoseok sleeping on Namjoons shoulder to Joonie being disappointed that he couldn’t scare him and the whole thing at 37:32

 

Next Namjoon is literally Hoseoks biggest fan when it comes to his dancing b̶e̶s̶i̶d̶e̶s̶ ̶m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶ ̶T̶a̶e̶h̶y̶u̶n̶g̶. This was one of the first times I really noticed the Namseok love but in this compilation alone of Hobi dancing Namjoon may as well have pom poms and a cheerleader outfit, hes loving it. He also really wants to see his abs again. I don’t know what his deal is but he’s all about Hobis muscles in the Thailand dinner show V app broadcast

 

And recently I don’t know but I feel like they are around each other more, they look at each other while they are laughing, and are, not ignoring the other members, but look like they have been spending more time with each other off camera. Starting from the MAMA awards behind the scenes. (Like I said before these are pretty little things but they show a certain closeness. We have to rember that besides Yoongi and Namjoon these two have know each other the longest.) I cant find the video but in the MAMA video where Hobi asks Namjoon to do the syllable sentence thing, you know what I mean right, and they are both embarrassed at his weird answer. Or inJins birthday prank from mnet, beofre jin and MPD nim go on their date Namseok are cuddely, and after they come back they are again. And again in The Show behind the scenes, the back hugs and the not leaving Hoseok alone to film. They seem really close, but not in a Hoseok x maknae line skinship fest like we re used to.

This is just a quick little compilation of some more noticeable Namseok for people who have never really noticed them, not a lot of people ship them because they don’t have huge monumental moments y̶e̶t̶ but feel free to ask me again, I have a load more, they are my brotp.

A LITTLE ON NAMSEOK

 

i really really really hope namseok’s interactions get more attention this year. i mean, back in 2013, they had a lot of pics together and stuff and i saw old comments about the two of them but then since 2014 meh, nothing at all.
seriously - i think it’s time to appreciate namseok’s adorable relationship. everybody knows that vmin/95line are the ultimate friendship goals in bangtan, yes, i agree too, but look at namseok/94line!!!

 

since i’m too lazy to get gifs and pics i’m just gonna write down their moments based off my memory lol.

 

so, yeah. i’ve seen people question if namjoon and hoseok even talk; that’s how rare their on-camera interactions are. let me say this, especially since it comes from an extreme hobi stan who also extremely ships namseok as a brotp, namseok’s moments are usually, mostly off-screen. you need to observe very diligently to find them.

 

but all i’ve got to say about these two is that they’re actually always together. i mean, ALWAYS. you can tell me that i’m wrong but go ahead, observe them.

 

they’re usually seated next to each other during interviews since they have a somewhat official order of seating, BUT you can see them sitting side by side even when it’s not something official.

 

easiest example, mama 2015. i can’t remember if it’s before or after their performance, but during 2ne1’s perf namjoon and hoseok were sitting together while the other 5 was quite a few steps away. even fan-taken pics could simply focus on the two of them because the distance between namjoon and seokjin (or was it taehyung…) was, you could say, pretty huge.

 

i watched the fancam during the 2ne1 perf and they kept on whispering to each other and were so close and omg, my heart. wait, even before that, when they arrived in hong kong for mama, they were wearing matching puma jackets. um ??? excuse ???

 

oh, how about the legendary let’s speak english bomb? nobody notices the lovely amount of obvious namseok in that. they’re seated together with kookie on that flight. in the bomb, namjoon purposely uses big english words to get hoseok all confused, and then after hoseok gets tired of filming the no-jam (no fun) members, he goes back to filming himself + namjoon and they have an absurd conversation about cola and their polar bear friends in antartica. what i admired most when this conversation took place was the way namjoon looked at hoseok, who’s trying his best to speak english, with such a fond smile. bonus - there were official pictures released that were taken throughout the flight to LA, and one of them was of both namjoon and hoseok sleeping, and the caption said something like “same-aged friends even in dreamland togetherâ€, omasbwnebba so cuteee.

 

and then these two are so so judgmental towards each other, like namjoon’s face screams “no†everytime hoseok does something and when it’s namjoon’s turn hoseok’s just like “nAh†but at the same time the support they have for each other… like when do you came out, hoseok put hashtags like RM’s friend JHope, and #RM #Friend, showing how proud he is to be namjoon’s friend. and y'all just can’t deny this; without doubt namjoon is hoseok’s biggest dancing fanboy. say it’s yoongi, say it’s taehyung, say it’s jimin, but nope. watch hoseok’s dance compilations and just listen to namjoon’s voice in the background, or watch his excited face when the mcs ask hobi to dance. oh, and don’t forget the compliments that come along, “perfect!!†is one that i recall the most.

 

one of their latest big moments - isac 2016. during isac 2015, there were fan-taken pics of them sitting together and talking (hoseok smiling of course) and that was :’) enough for me, but 2016’s isac…

 

when namjoon pretended to be stage lights as hoseok danced in front of armys.

and then namjoon probs saw someone stretching or something and gestured for hoseok to do the same but then they both stretched at the same time(?) and hoseok accidentally hurt(?) namjoon’s shoulder.

and someone said they took a selca with armys. it’s been deCADES since they uploaded a selca of just the both of them together.

oh, oh!! let’s not forget. they always, i mean ALWAYS share secret glances during interviews and such. i just.

and i can’t leave this out - they’re bangtan’s major byuntae line. some say namjin, some say +jimin, but chim himself confirmed namseok’s bangtan’s byuntae line. and i… completely believe this. just watch yaman tv omg. and the way hoseok laughed after namjoon said “something keeps dangling†when he was twerking on ahl. wat.

 

ok i have no idea what i just wrote so i’m gonna stop here cause i sound so delusional bUt hey, just spreading the namseok love. really wish that people would appreciate namseok as a pair and mostly as individuals on their own more, they’re such beautiful human beings, goodness.

so yeah. i think they’re just about as bff-y as vmin are, just maybe not as showy. but still just as adorable.

Namseok is probably my fav OTP in BTS. Idgi why ppl don't see it. They are so quirky and adorable af together.

They are making it hard for me to choose my OTP (I love NamJin, VMon, SugaMon and VMin), but yeah this is definitely the most heartwarming one to see. I hope you all will post more stuffs of NamSeok here if you have time. I need to see more

Reminding myself that Hoseok's the older one~

 

The individual threads of both of them if you want something on OH (though I'd at least try to post things concerning them in here now).

Other than that.. hmm.. tumblr through the tag-search. You can also follow tags (Namseok/94 line). Same goes for twitter.

And of course their 2 korean fansites (Secret Bliss & Vollmond). There also might be some heavy or biased Namseok accounts but so far I've only found this one.
