Isaballerina 264 Posted April 9, 2014 Share Posted April 9, 2014 For me i have this weird thing about me...i can't talk confidently with someone over the phone....i don't know why... i prefer talking face to face...but if it's work related i do try my best to talk over the phone... i don't have this kind of problem with family and close friends...but for people i don't know/not close ... i prefer talking face to face.... Because I'm shy and I talk a lot on the phone but when meet face to face, I'm shy and don't know what to say, unless my close friend then I will open my mouth and talk otherwise I'm quiet when come to face-face and noisy, talk a lot on the phone. I'm a naturally affectionate person so I prefer talking to people when I can just be fully expressive and whatever. I rarely talk on the phone, though I could do so for hours and hours when I do. After 2 minutes on the phone if I did not hang up on you that means you're special. I feel much better when I can look at the person I'm talking to and assessing their emotions on their face. Talking on the phone feels so disconnected.
