Back when SMRookies was first introduced, 2 boys caught my eye, Ten & Hansol. 

 

Ten got to debut. Hansol didn't.

 

No one except Hansol and SM will ever know the reasons why, but Hansol is now making a go at becoming an Idol on THE UNIT.

He's currently on The Unit  and at the moment he's on the Red Team and was ranked 5th in the voting, which is amazing but after Samuel and Jonghyun, I don't trust rankings!

I was so sad when he didn't end up with NCT, it must have been so tough for him, but I'm glad he's not giving up, hopefully one day, he'll meet the boys on stage again.

I promised myself no more survival shows after PD101, I get too invested and then my child just had to go on The Unit, I had no choice but to tune in. I hope he gets really popular on this show, he deserves so much after all those years of training.

After what happened to Jonghyun, I swore off survival shows but then Hansol who i've been following since 2015 happened to audition on this one. I'm watching TU as a casual fan but I'm too attached to this kid so if something goes wrong with him on the show then I'd be more disappointed than I was when the Jonghyun thing happened. But if it does, I hope he can be the break out star of TU just like Jonghyun was in P101.

He's an underdog because of his past and the fact that he's on The Unit in the first place, he's not an underdog on the show.

He is sooooo awkward I laughed so hard when they had to team up and Hansol quietly told the Hotshot boys that maybe picking Feeldog wasn't a great idea because he could take up a lot of camera time and the Hotshot Boys were like "no no we want him" and he  awkwardly just nodded and went really quiet. From his instagram, he seems a lot closer to the other boys now.

I am so attached to this kid, I will never forgive KBS if they evil edit him or don't give him enough screen time, they've been nice so far and he has a lot of support from his SM Rookie days, so I'm hoping that will equal votes.
