PromiscuousBunny 3,686
Fit all definitions and key notes into one page, double sided. That's the base info you will need to know. As long as you know that info, you can do well (I don't know how well this works for math tbh)

ruppi 9,190
Set yourself goals. When you have a plan for what you want to achieve for everyday till your exam, you get a better understanding of the time needed to be finished by the time the exam comes
ideonsshi 936
instead of targeting a score, try to set goals for materials you want to understand.
eunjo 7,657
Turn everything off. I mean EVERYTHING. Turn off the phone, the computer, and park your ass in a secluded place where it forces you to study. Don't study on your bed but study in an open area, like your dining room or library, or just any place with lots of people. idk how this will apply to you but being in those places makes me feel motivated to get shit done. And for the love of god do not open OH until you are done studying.
Nani. 3,784
Make sure to make breaks in between cause at some point your brain needs a break I usually study 1-2 h and make a 15-30min break And I try to make a study plan. It's better for me to learn 3h a day for 3 days than 9h on 1 day tbh
al qaeda 5,837
I think that it's a good idea to make small cards to write down information and facts about the topics you are studying. Try to shorten your notes so that everything is easier to remember (take out any of the irrelevant information). Revise the last thing you learnt in lessons first. You'll most likely remember more about it and then start revising older stuff. Use images and drawings to help you understand things (this is actually really helpful). Colour code things (especially relevant information). Don't cram everything into a day! Plan out a schedule and revise for 2 hours or less each day. Don't revise for too long, if you do make sure to have breaks in between. Take away any distractions (e.g. Your phone, laptop, computer whatever. Remember OH, is also a distraction). Don't go to somewhere that is noisy, go somewhere quiet where you can think in peace. Watch videos to help you understand certain things if you have to. Switch things up! Don't revise topics in the same order each day. Revise in a different order (it may be hard at first but it's been scientifically proven to help). A whiteboard is also very helpful for writing facts and drawing things to help yourself visualise. Say facts out loud to help you remember them. Pyotoo 313
Don’t be nervous. A test is just asking you to recite things you already know, so you really should focus on brushing up your knowledge. Don’t memorize everything, only the important key words/parts. What you need is to understand everything. Make it make sense in your mind. This is how i take my notes too, i write my notes in a way that would make me immediately understand when i read it. Take your time to absorb each information. If you don’t get it, ask someone or google/youtube can be surprisingly very helpful. Use hand gestures to remember timelines/structures etc, i read in a tabloid once that if you do those hand gestures at the test it will help you remember what you have memorized with it. If you procrastinate, stop it now and set alarms 10, 30 mins so you can keep track of how fast you can go through the materials. This is how i do my all nighters haha
