Naver - Osen: 'My Mister's first broadcast, Lee Ji Eun stole Lee Sun Kyun funds...Lee Sun Kyun got dismissed

1.[+1158, -111] IU's back stab ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ But it’s sad, somehow it feels like the two of them are reluctant to live, I feel bad for them

2.[+1040, -132] It's good and fun, Lee Ji An's back stab was funny

3.[+962, -111] When IU comes out it become thriller ã…‹ã…‹ It got more fun after halfway

4.[+933, -156] This drama is really fun. Lee Ji Eun is the best

5.[+855, -104] All the actors are good at acting ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6.[+364, -32] All the characters are good...It's so fun...It's has good comic and thriller!!!

7.[+357, -35] I know understand why they aired 90 mins, It's a big picture to put in one hour...Maybe even 90 mins still lacks a little..That's why i will watch it tomorrow too ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

Daum - Newsen: 'My Mister's first broadcast, IU's shocking violent scene that should be 18+

1.[+182, -41] Don't hit Ji Eun ã…œ

2.[+171, -37] If it was me I would feel dizzy too. Don't make the drama too dark, control it a little bit...It's sensational, stimulating and violent. The time has changed and in reality there is more violent but let's not make it like an everyday thing on tv, It's uncomfortable ã…

3.[+178, -87] Chang Ki Young's acting was better than I expected, I won't curse at the violent on this scene, but I have to praise the performance of these two young actors, they expressed well living at the bottom in the 20s

4.[+95, -19] I feel depressed...

5.[+92, -20] I don't like it because it's too dark. I want to watch a bright and cheerful drama now. Because I want to be comforted rather than angry

6.[+92, -36] It could happen since he is a loan shark ã…¡ It's realistic ã…¡ Are they gentlemen?!

7.[+123, -76] Lee Ji Eun's acting has definitely got better~~ I'm looking forward to it~

8.[+35, -8] Go sue him, You can send him to jail. Is it normal to do this because she borrowed money?

9.[+39, -17] Ji An-ah let's play the loan shark back ã…œã…œã…œ

so i should really really be sleeping right now but i've just watched the ep with subs and i wasn't in love with it, but i liked it.

it definitely could have been edited better but i realise as its the first ep there's a lot a exposition happening with the all new characters and their backstories etc. so i get the disjointed feel of it.

iu's scenes were the most interesting this ep and though she didnt showcase many emotions as jian yet, she did a great job. the sunglasses scene in the office was hilarious

jky and iu act together well even with him being a twisted, violent debt collector. i actually liked their scenes. it was dark and i think it really made you feel the deepest sadness for jian. it feels quite true to life of someone who has it the worst and i appreciate it despite it being hard to watch :(

Wow, IU's character owes Jang Ki Yong's character money. There goes all of my hopes and dreams for a loveline. I still enjoyed seeing them together anyways.

And damn, Lee Ji Ah's playing a character that's cheating. Debt collector and cheater. All my faves have taken on such different roles this time around.

The first episode was really good it deserves all the praise.

Spoilers

It was clearly an introduction to all the characters but it wasn't boring either. Lee Sun Gyun is such a great actor and IU scenes were my faves honestly. Her character is so badass but pitiful at the same time. I felt so bad for her when she ate the restaurant leftovers, took care of her grandma and then when she got beat up, it felt so real. I don't quite feel the chemistry with Jang Kiyong yet (tho he's doing great as the bad guy)...I think I felt more of a chemistry with LSG? When they went to eat and that bug conversation at the office. Idk. I just felt more of a connection and I can't wait to see how their relationship will develop.

This drama is looking so great right now: relatable and realistic. It's a healing drama mixed with thriller elements. I can tell it's going to be much more interesting in the next episodes. Can't wait!

DramaFever seems to be subbing the drama quickly, which is great!

The 1st episode was slow but necessary to set up pretty much all the characters in the drama and get their stories rolling.

I wonder how much money does Ji An owns. I'm curious how she got to own so much debt, most likely due to her parents and grandparents, since most don't seem to be alive/around anymore, only the grandmother.

To who is Ji An working for as a spy that pays so little? She kept the blackmail money, didn't she? Most likely to use it to pay off her debt, but Gwang Il will find it suspicious if she drops the money all at once.

(Hope there is no love line between Ji An and Gwang Il after that beating, no matter what! Don't care how sorry or changed he becomes during the drama, he can be changed with someone else, not someone that he abused both physically and mentally.)

The CEO is using the blackmail mistake of it going to the wrong person to create a mess for Dong Hoon. Is he hoping for them to divorce, so that he can stop hiding away with Dong Hoon's wife? Why doesn't Dong Hoon's wife ask for a divorce? Can't be because of their son, since he doesn't even live with them....

Can't wait for episode 2 to come and to add more little pieces to every story.

Same thoughts after re-watching w/ subs. It started out slow, but I think it was expected in order to introduce the characters. I had the same feelings with Misaeng, but it just got better and better with each episode. Really looking forward to the comradery/friendship that will eventually develop between the brothers and Jian and how they get each other through their respective difficulties. I really don't think there will be romance in this drama at all and if there is, it'll probably only be a hint between Jian/Gwangil near the end (hopefully not!).

Excited for the V-live tonight as the cast will surely give out more info on the drama and hopefully shut up the twitter antis who are making this out to be a "lolita" romance. If only they could have held a press con before the drama aired so we could hear the thoughts of the writer and director as well.

Wow, I can't IU's character back stabbed the male lead. How exactly is this a 'healing' drama? Not getting those vibes as of right now.

I think the "healing" part will come later as the drama progresses. Like Lee Sun Gyun's character helps out IU's character despite what she did to him.

LOL they edited the relationship chart

Yeah, there was a change also when they initially submitted...

The initial error was also with a double line relationship that needed to remove the red line (love/affection) and be only blue line (enemies/antagonists), like Nara's character and the youngest brother now.

And they also removed the red line between Ji An and Dong Hoon, and between the CEO and Dong Hoon's wife.

No more red lines in this drama! laugh.png

i'm glad it's looking like romance isn't a thing in this drama between jian and dong hoon but even if there was i really don't think it would be outlandish? she's not a child and he's not an oap i understand it's overused in dramas and films but from the set up him being the only kindness jian sees in her life does it seem so impossible erm nope?

I think they're going to make things kinda vague with the relationships hence the red line edits laugh.png

With all that we know about the drama, Ji An and Dong Hoon could have been the healthiest relationship of the drama if they decided to go with one, if it was made after he got a divorce from his cheating wife.

tbh i don't watch dramas / films etc for the moral perspective so even if i didn't agree with that particular relationship irl e.g. affair it doesn't mean it generally doesnt make good tv and cinema or that you can't relate despite not agreeing?

i love the idea of a platonic relationship and healing drama tho so absence of love lines between jian and people would so great also just cos majority of kdramas are centred around this genre

That this even had to be clarified is too funny. Like watch the drama first or at least do proper research before starting a witch hunt.. the antis are desperate! Still laughing at how apparently dating violence is being glorified between two enemies (lol) + lolita this lolita that when they don't even know the definition of the word. I even saw tweets comparing this to Eungyo the movie like what? laugh.png

Really enjoyed this episode so much more than the first!

Spoilers

Omg the beginning.. Jian is so badass LOVE IT! Not to mention smart with her plan in the beginning + finding out about the affair between Dong Hoon's wife and the CEO (her exchange with him near the end was savage lol). This type of female lead character is so refreshing. I also appreciated that it wasn't as dark this episode with more comedic relief from the 2 brothers.. laughed so hard when people were staring at them at the subway entrance while waiting for Jian lmao. The ending was really beautifully done as well with Dong Hoon thanking her as they were sitting in the subway. So looking forward to their blossoming friendship. In Misaeng, I absolutely loved the relationship between Siwan and Sungmin's characters and am optimistic that the director can bring out something similar with this pairing.

Second time saying this but I'm just so happy that IU took on this role. She's doing great so far and I feel like this drama will be a really meaningful production.
