My concept is called "Girls Go To War", a play on SNSD's debut variety show name. More info:

 

 

 

There's a story in the order of the pictures I've designed and displayed in my profile, so I'll explain that as it may look confusing. It starts out with the lyrics of a song from the 90's Sailor Moon album I had (She's Got The Power!) as I thought they were appropriate for my concept of war. The second picture is meant to represent the SONE fandom (the GIF in the middle is the Pink Ocean). We use the Communicator, a magical device from the Sailor Moon anime, to contact SNSD using lyrics from the 'Beep Beep' song. The third picture is the introduction of the 'Soshi Senshi' as a whole, hearing our cheers and ready to kick ass in the war. After that is each SNSD/Sailor member's mini profiles. I thought about many things that are similar with each person/character, such as: personalities, star signs, styles, interests etc to find the closest pairs I could. However, the most important part of the profiles is each SNSD member's "special attack" -- some of these may go over non-SONE's heads, but I hope SONE will remember some of these classic moments of our girls. It was a lot of fun to make.

 

The "quotes" at the top are each girls' favourite life motto, or phrase to live each day by. For the purpose of this concept, you can imagine each of them as their sayings during battle. All of that and the info in their mini profiles are from various magazine/photobook interviews and their official profiles.

 

My profile video is of course, SNSD singing their own theme song. It couldn't have been anything else.

 

For my sig, I've used some lyrics from the song 'Galaxy Supernova' to tie in with the Sailor Moon concept and tried making a banner that is similar in aesthetic to my profile graphics. My DP was also made by me, and was inspired by the graphics as seen in the Sailor Moon Crystal anime. As Yuri is my bias in SNSD, I decided to use her as the focus there then have all girls in my sig graphics~

 

I remembered to tag all the pictures, but if you missed them, I designed everything myself. For the lyrics images, I made them and got inspiration from the opening credits of the Sailor Moon 90's anime; there's a similar kind of aesthetic with the two flowers at the side with text in the middle of a gradient. I think that's all, but you can ask me if you need anything else!

I wanted to have no theme for my profile, just design it according to my style and preference, using BTS (especially my bias, V) as the main focus and inspiration. I included four of my favorite BTS quotes between panels, because all four quotes mean a lot to me. The panels talk a little bit about myself while never losing BTS as the main theme, so I chose to expose my favorite bias pictures, favorite songs, favorite album, favorite era, and favorite group pairing!

 

I chose a color scheme of blues, greens, greys, yellows, and a touch of white. I also matched my dp and sig with my profile and the color scheme.

 

All of the images were designed by me!

The theme for my profile is inspired by BTS Hyyh albums. The reason i picked Hyyh is because it is the most significant era/albums for me. It was the album that converted me into an ARMY. Plus, it's also my favorite album of theirs.

My profile shows how Bangtan motivates and inspires me.

 

The intro image is showing where I was at before BTS and how I got turned into an army. They motivate and inspire me, and this is most true for the songs they produce, write and sing.

 

The words on the other images are all lyrics from BTS albums save for one which is a direct quote from the leader RM. The images accompanying the words come from themes of their song (Fire), mv (tunnel in Run), and album (Wings). 

 

The song is the song I listen to when I am on my way to work, rapped by my bias RM, to pump myself up and live the day the best I could.

Description: In my profile and signature/DP I decided to show off my love for Blackpink and focus on the duality of their concept - the pink and the black sides that they portray so well on stage. The background of the graphics and the photos used change, depending on the member and the "pink" or "black" category and they show both a youthful, fresh and more cheerful image of Blackpink but also their fierce and rebellious side. My profile, dp and sig were inspired in "The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas" by Ursula K. Le Guin , a short story that was used in BTS Spring Day MV and is also used to theories, you can read the amazing short story here.

 

While doing it I was thinking about Omelas and the journey for those who want to walk away from that "place". I wanted to give an fantasy feel to my profile, dp and sig since Omelas sounds like a magical (but sad) place, so I used pastel colors and elements that reminded me of BTS Spring Day, such as cherry blossoms  and snow (spring and winter) all of it while showing BTS.

I wanted to show off the beauty of Jungkook's soul and talent more than just his physical beauty. I used a lot of flowery elements and twinkly lights to mimic the beauty of Jungkook's heart and his sparkling talent. The colors are light and warm just like him using oranges and pinks and of course yellows (because he IS the Golden Maknae). My profile also contains inspirational quotes and lyrics from Jungkook and BTS. They are truly and inspirational group of people who work hard and have true kindness in their hearts. I created all of the graphics myself. Throughout is a story of Jungkook's life and his dedication to his work, his hyungs and his ARMY. You see his progression from young shy adorable boy to a wonderful man who loves what he does. Towards the end is a letter I wrote to him on his birthday to express my adoration and gratitude. Below that are some elements created by friends and badges to signify closeness with some of my other Kookie stans. I thought it would be nice to end with some humor because my profile is a bit over the top which means that I am clearly the #1 Jungkook stan on OH. I like to balance my profile, dp and sig with beautiful and colorful images of Jungkook and also funny images like my dp showing Jungkook and I accepting our titles and King and Queen of OH.

They each are representative of a part of my profile, each part title is symbolized by the member's logo in the WINGS Mini Films and they are also in the same order as the films releases.

I wanted my profile to link them and me, something pretty personal.

Just as my background link the BTS Logo, with the ARMY logo, go together to do the harmony of the background.

The members' photo edits are Visual Poetry. I wrote down short haiku-like poems for each EXO member- relating "loving A boy" to an experience which subtly relates to both their original personalities and their superhuman personalities given to them by SM as EXO.

 

Concrete, pattern, or shape poetry is an arrangement of linguistic elements in which the typographical effect is more important in conveying meaning than verbal significance". The words make up the picture because words, actions, and more are what make up people, and EXO are a group who never go back on their words. The poem is also related to the "powers" assigned to them in canon verse"

I chose LOONA's Jinsoul as the main focus of my design because she is my bias in the group. 

My profile design is inspired by Jinsoul's Singing in the Rain music video. The images used are from the M/V, and I used blue and pink as the main colors because those are the colors that are primarily used in the video. There's more emphasis in the usage of blue in my design since that is Jinsoul's color; I also included a betta fish, which is Jinsoul's animal (Note: each LOONA member has a color and animal that has been assigned to them).

It seemed fitting to use rain as the background image since Jinsoul's song is called Singing in the Rain.

Concept - Exo's main concept is basically space and powers so I tried to incorporate that as much as possible but with little twists. I wanted to tie my favorite things about their concepts into one and to add touches of my own personality and other interests in the profile. The result was a mix of Star wars, outerspace, comics, and of course a whole lot of Exo -- all things that I've loved for years. Hopefully I was able to share enough about Exo and myself ^^

 

Sig - the gif is from their Sing For You MV and the text is from their song "Been Through", it translates to "Shine Brightly" ["At the end of today’s hardshipsBrightly shine on me"]. I thought it could easily relate to Exo's concept and the relationship between them and the fans and I appreciate the song a lot.
