Honestly did not anticipate that it'd take me this long to complete the project (the pieces kept falling apart >_<). That being said, I persevered with the mindset of making something that would best convey my support for BIGBANG during their period of hiatus. There were two sides to this, one side is what the players had to say about said song and video, what they appreciate about it. The other side was users on the forum watching Exo's videos but also discovering them. For Example not a lot of them knew about Chen's station collab 'Years' and I was happy to see some users appreciating it for the first time. Moreover thankx to this Event I got to talk a lot more with other ExoLs and I tried to include one of them in the game. Going through the pages of the game's threads you can see the different appreciation threads that were made and also our funny interactions. There is no recording of it yet, but I have tested it out and it fits well. Writing original lyrics has never been a strong suit of mine, the composing aspect of songwriting has always been easier, so I’ve been learning how to write lyrics through translating the lyrics of my favorite K-Pop songs, starting more literally and then becoming something more like this. I feel that this exercise has led me to have the confidence to write my own lyrics for my own song, and this is the last translation practice I’m planning to do before writing my own song. I feel like I owe this progression to my favorite artists, and especially to Seventeen, who especially inspire me to continue making music. It's still in sort of early stages, but this demo represents a couple months' work. It centers on Baekhyun, who was separated from the rest of the EXO members in the MV for Power, and his quest to find the rest of the members (who are scattered across different worlds inspired by other music videos) and give them their power orbs. Along the way he has to solve puzzles, fight mysterious robots, and eventually (with the rest of the group) take down RF-05, the giant robot they fight in the Power MV. Everything has been made by me, including the music and art. The music is all orchestral covers of EXO songs, including Baby Don't Cry, MAMA, Lucky One, and The Eve. I've included them below so you can hear them more clearly. Idk how to embed playlists but the next song should play after the each one has finished. I've also included larger versions of Baekhyun's head sprite and the title screen. Feel free to skip around the video, I know it's long! The show 'Friends' and GOT7 are two of my favorite things and I decided to combine them. So here goes! Joey - Jackson The member with the most energy and the funnest member to be around. Joey/Jackson's energy is unmatched in the group and they can make anyone laugh. But at the end of the day, they are also the members with the biggest hearts and they care a lot about the people around them. Chandler - Youngjae The member with the most unique sense of humor, Youngjae/Chandler are quick witted and know how to keep a conversation going. They try their hardest to be "normal" (which doesn't always work), and at the end of the day, they are unique in their fun personalities and jokes. Phoebe - Yugyeom The member with the quirkiest sense of humor whom everyone loves to be around. Their friends/members might not always understand what they're doing or thinking, but they love them! Their heart is always in the right place and they care a lot about their friends' happiness. Rachel - BamBam The group member with the greatest sense of fashion, Rachel/Bambam know how to turn heads when they walk into a room and they can be very elegant and classy. But when they are around their friends, their crazy/funny side emerges and they know how to make others laugh and have fun. Monica - Jinyoung The member with the greatest sense of poise and organizational skills, Monica/Jinyoung know how to keep everything in order and keep everyone on track. But they can also be very funny and goofy (as long as it's in the right setting!) They also quietly take care of their members and watch over them with a sense of motherly care. Ross - Mark & JB The most mature members of the group, JB/Mark/Ross know how to keep their cool in chaotic situations. Although they may come off as quiet, once you get to know them, you will find that they can be crazy and extremely goofy.
