Marce11a 927 Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 I remember the VS Fashion Show once delivered some of the best remixes... 2003 (actual show starts at 1:15) 2003 (segment starts at 0:50) 2005 (segment starts at 0:40) 2005 But for the past couple of years, they've only known boring live stages or simple songs. No offense, but seeing Katy Perry and Taylor Swift every other year is boring. Has VS simply become too mainstream and doesn't care about uniqueness anymore? This year, the show will take place in Shanghai. I thought this would be a great opportunity to explore new paths and come up with some cool remixes. No, VS would rather spend a whole lot of $ on artists that have already been a part of previous shows - Taylor and Katy. Where is the point in making a fashion show into a live concert? Are they really that much in need of attention? Are they afraid the show itself will be too boring so they need someone who generates a big audience? Yes, VS has become b-o-r-i-n-g. écarlate 68 Posted November 11, 2017 Share Posted November 11, 2017 highkey agree. the shows were so much better without the forced interactions b/w models and performers and when they didn't have live music too. case in point: candice walking to the pretty reckless 'make me wanna die' to open the show. The VS models then were on a different level than the ones they hire today, not to mention the fantasy bra is given to just anybody these days.
