the hallyu wave died down, that's what happened
and it's not just the hallyu wave, japanese acts aren't as famous as they used to be either

in the late 00's/early 10's the j/kpop fans community was bigger, the last group i remember being particularly famous is  shinee
it's starting to pick up a little bit again among teenagers now thanks to bts but it's just not what it used to be and i doubt it'll ever go back to how it was
and even back then it was obviously just a niche market anyway - though at least it had a bit more of a spotlight shone on it even if it wasn't much

england is an island and too far from the rest of europe

they need a place where people can just drive over in a few hours

But I'm pretty sure England has lots of Kpop fans. I think London has the biggest Korean community in Europe. So they don't need to count on other Europeans to come. laugh.png  And there are many cheap flights from countries close to England.

I don't think it would flop if SM town back in France

like another comment said it would be just french fans but fans from

all over Europe that would come and attend the concert

also didn't GD successful wrap his paris concert in september?

I heard the tickets sold out, also Kcon last year was very successful

I don't think Europe is that much of a dead market for kpop

Probably because of what followed the two SMTOWN concerts. All of the big names that came after, except for KCON last year, failed to meet the expectations. Music Bank had to cancel a date, SS4 was supposed to have two but the second one was abandoned when they saw the tickets were not selling that well and GD's concert was pretty much empty (not even a big exageration, it was pretty disturbing when the light were on).

I think it's really complicated for agencies to measure the potential of France concert places for big Kpop groups right now ...

Euro Kpop fans need to contact concert organizers in Europe.

http://seoulbeats.com/2017/05/why-do-k-pop-world-tours-tend-to-ignore-europe/

I've read this before

and I see more and more fans making petitions

and trying to contacts organizers and what not

but I just don't understand why it was possible

before but not so much right now
