Article: Is it possible for SNSD to be 'whole yet separate'?

Source: E-Daily via Naver

1. [+1,546, -111] Fact of the matter is that it's hard for even us non-celebrities to get 8 friends together to do something

2. [+918, -60] They've had a two year hiatus even under the same agency so...

3. [+683, -113] Honestly, if they wanted to stay together as SNSD, those members would've never left. Even if the three new agencies promise to help them with their SNSD activities, it's still going to be hard...

4. [+469, -43] It all boils down to how hard they want it to happen...

5. [+559, -102] SM never released disbandment statements for CSJH or f(x) ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ you're a fool if you keep waiting for them thinking they'll comeback

6. [+84, -15] Even under SM together, they barely promoted once every two years. That's why fans don't really have high expectations when it comes to group promotions. What we're hoping for is a song with all 8 of their voices for special times like 10th or 20th anniversaries. It's not like SM made it a point to say that SNSD will rebrand as 5 members or anything.

7. [+60, -13] Leaving SM was for the best... look at how hard SM ruined their latest promos ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

8. [+57, -13] I just hope that SNSD can set a precedent, Soshi fighting

9. [+51, -10] In 2010, SNSD managed to be the only girl group to beat out huge boy groups like Super Junior, 2PM, and SHINee for the Golden Disk Award in album sales. They'll probably be the only and last girl group to achieve such a feat. Twice still hasn't been able to beat out an album daesang against EXO or BTS.

10. [+50, -12] Either way, it's not like SNSD promoted much while they were whole under SM anyway. They had a comeback like once every two years ㅜ all fans want is for them to put out a song for their debut anniversary... thanks for everything, SNSD.

As a sone I don't expect them to perform on Mcountdown or anything lol. I'm just happy the girls still view themselves as SNSD and cherish it. They gave more than a decade of their lives training and becoming idols.

If they feel it's time to move on and try new things then I will always support them and cheer them on.

It will be nice if they can do small things every now and then, but it would be silly to expect full comebacks from them.

The last decade was truly their generation...they helped transform kpop and bring happiness to so many people. I'm excited to see what the future holds for all of them! :')

But if anyone is able to challenge the precedence it's SNSD

Yeah, I remember that #9 that's why I was shocked I actually shed a tear when three of them left. 😲 2010 me would probably slap today me but I really hope there's something in them that will push them to give everyone another comeback. Another OT9 song or stage one day would be awesome too.ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

Only delusional sones would still think there will be any group activity. The fact they are all soloist now under sub-agency "snsd"

Maybe 5-10 years later for 1 week group activity

it would be best if they follow what beast did. they have enough popularity and money to do that.

I would say to do this, but when BEAST left Cube, Cube was a sinking ship. SM is not. They could potentially block SNSD activities if the girls went to another agency. Plus, they wouldn't all move (as shown) because SM treats them decently.

"Still"? Twice isn't even that old, goodness. Not to mention, even BTS hasn't won an album daesang for their physical sales yet. (Shocking, I know.)

Cube is over but SM isn't that's the difference

Snsd won their physical daesang in their 3rd year.
