GAON MONTHLY UPDATE - OCTOBER (Digital, Download, Streaming, Album)

SECHSKIES is one of the groups with the most faithful fandom of K-Pop and are credited with pioneering idol fandom culture. They have 20 years as a group and they continue to sell a lot, both physically and digitally. That's a real and true big deal, especially because they were from DSP and now they are in YG and they returned as a group 16 years later with 5/6 members.

I'm proud of them. rlytearpls.png

sechskies' being #1 in digitals makes no sense

Digital are based of DL, Streaming, BGM & Mobile Chart.

Streaming is the least profit out of all the chart. Why? Because it quite cheap to purchase the pass. You can stream as many times as you like in the month. The profit of the song divided each times you stream. In fact artist not gained much from the streaming the song.

Where are the profit coming from. BGM & Download are the two most expensive chart where the fans spend a lot of money to purchase the song individually. In fact BGM is the most expensive out of all the chart. Gaon not put it there as nothing.

SechsKies top BGM chart for 6 consecutive weeks and they always ranked at the top for DL & Mobile Chart. Gaon chart based on how much the song makes.

The more profit the song achieve, the more chance SechsKies top the chart.

On the otherside I don't think Gaon counted all the streaming. Because SechsKies gained over 600K listeners and 8M streams on Genie alone within a few weeks. They even hit Genie roof. They also top Soribada, Naver, Olleh, Mnet & Bugs chart. I think there are nothing wrong with SechsKies top the chart.a72bcc3334a838371535e150a5c5c86d.jpgdcc1581db638586bb28a65c168b8dac5.jpgc98292a98e204f169f8d304ca6b04db3.jpg0b8747052244f3a71577bf74908a12ec.jpg
