I like that about him. That way he can't hide when he's feeling sad and hopefully someone will cheer him up >.<

 

I think he really tries to hide his emotions (especially when he is sad) because he doesn't want to see the other members worried about him. He's always there when the others aren't having a good time and maybe because of that he acts like he's stronger than he actually is.

I think so too and that hurts a bit, tbh Though I get it. He's sorta the "mood maker". When BTS were backstage the first thing he said, I think was he "really loves the members and etc.". At the time for me it was so unexpected, and very emotional. You could tell he really meant it. Moments like these is what made me stan jimin.

 

Since jimin was the last to join BTS, I feel he felt pressured to be really nice and obedient to the members, in order to earn their respect. I also agree, he wants to be love by everyone (members and fans) And he does everything he can to please people. 

I'm not a psychologist, but it does make me wonder if this may have been caused by how he was raised/his family

 

Although I love all of the members and I know they all care for each other, it always use to bother me how much they talked about his looks.This use to make me really upset when they did this. Especially when you could tell, jimin smile/laugh was forced, and he was actually hurt by the comments. However, what I really like about this comeback, the members are complementing jimin more. ( I also really appreciated the recent bangtan bomb w/ the title "very handsome boy jimin")

Sometimes I think he does whatever people want him to do because he thinks they don't like him otherwise and that's BS and it kills me.

I want to give him a hug and tell him we'll love him no matter what but I think that even if he's told that by a thousand people, he won't believe it. That's how doubt works, especially when it comes to yourself. Even if you KNOW the truth, your brain tells you otherwise. There's that little voice in the back of your head that WANTS you to hate yourself. Some people can squash it down completely...and then there are people like Jimin who let it rule their behavior and how they think/feel.

 

You're right about him feeling like he needs to be loved and make everybody happy, I think. Like with us ARMYs....tbh, we go a big crazy over Jimin. Jimin is the guy everybody seems to be thirsty for just look at the early pgs of the 18+ thread whoa, it was a Jimin thread and I think he likes the attention...but with THAT sort of attention, I think he feels pressured and it probably makes him feel worse, if anything, about his body. Of course, he also probably feels GOOD about it but when he's not as fit a points as other times, then he probably feels worse, like he needs to get those abs back in order for us to like him.

 

Which is so not true, but because what he sees is the fans going crazy over his body... he diets to extremes and there are points in interviews and such when they're given food and Jimin kinda hesitates but won't eat and...that fucking KILLS me right there cause my sister was anorexic/bulimic and that shit is dangerous... 

 

This topic got depressing but I'm glad that other ARMYs see what I see when it comes to Jimin.

100. If J-Hope's smile is the rainbow after a thunderstorm, then Jimin's smile is the blooming of flowers breaking through the light dusting of snow covering the ground at the end of winter/beginning of spring.

 

 

100. Jimin's smile is my everything. If he smiles i smile... therefore, if he cries, i cry. I've never thought someone i don't even know could affect my emotions that much. but oh well, here i am being an emotional wreck once again.

He has said he loves the members so many times I think I have lost the count. And he always means it. It’s easy to say. I think the fact that he was the last one to join the group makes him feel like he doesn’t deserve it. I think he works till the point of exhaustion (and I’m sure the others do too) because he feels like he’s lacking in so many points.

 

As a Jimin stan I really suffer when they make those comments about him. I know he is easy to tease and that he probably lets these things go, but the members should know him well enough to know those comments hurt him a lot. You can actually see the pain in his eyes.

Sometimes I feel like a bad stan because we’re not making him feel any better. Like sometimes I feel he thinks we only appreciate him for his body and he feels the pressure to work on it because it’s the only thing he has that makes us notice him. Don’t talk to me about his dieting habits because it makes me mad. Those moments when everybody is eating and he is just there watching kill me every time.

I don't think you're overanalyzing too much. I also noticed that. As Kookie has gotten more carefree, Jimin has gotten more..."mature". He's growing up, they all are, and I don't necessarily think its a bad change. Though we're talking all seriously, I'm getting much better vibes from Jimin NOW than the vibes I was getting from him perviously and through the videos I watched that took place over the last 2 yrs. I hope Jimin is starting to see that he's important and is finding himself and figuring out the sort of person he wants to be, and is liking that person. I like him.

So maybe something like an intervention? like they noticed things...noticed the fans noticing things and talked to him about it? I feel that's a very real possibility. And honestly, even though they've all lived together for years, all know each other so well, that might be the exact issue? Maybe they didn't notice HOW bad it was because they've grown used to how Jimin is. It's normal for them, the way he acts and behaves and the looks he gets on his face whereas us fans only ever see quick videos of them.

 

We're not used to being around them 24/7 so we can pick up on those hints, those signals a person gives off that makes an alarm go off in your head, warning you that there's something wrong here--that sixth sense. Whereas BTS...they've lived with him for years. They are literally together practically 24/7. They're not just friends, members of the same group, they're a family and i truly believe BTS are one of the groups that ARE a family--and family tends to be the most blind to things like this with each other, don't they?

Thank you for this   Jimin looks like a Sim and it makes me want to make BTS on The Sims 4 even more than I already do.

The boys have really changed the way they treat Jimin. They compliment him a lot lately. I’m sure they did that before in private, but now they’re doing it too in front of the cameras. I don’t know the reason, I don't know if something really happened. I’m just glad to see that Jimin has people beside him ready to tell him all the good qualities he has. It is still sad that he needs to hear that kind of reassurance. Although it seems to me he’s gaining a little of confidence lately and he is learning to be, at least, content with himself.

 

Kookie… he is starting to be the clingy one in their relationship. I like that

UHMUHMUHM HAPPY CONVERSATION TOPIC.... well let me get the other stuff out of the way first.

 

I do think Jimin is becoming content with himself and that's a start. It's a really GOOD start. I hope as he grows older and as Bangtan continue to rise, that Jimin gets comfortable in his skin and loves himself on stage as much as well love him. Cause we love him a lot. Obviously.

 

I'm loving this shift in Kookie. Whatever it is, whether or not we're right in our thoughts, its so great. I love seeing him seek Jimin's affection more outwardly like this. and not just because I'm jikook trash

 

Please make it a reality...! but how would it be made in to a reality?

 

Okay and a HAPPY topic...

 

 

You can SEE the joy on his face when he dances and he's soooo good at it. He's so passionate about it and I hope, one day, in the future, they do do solo projects and that Jimin is able to do a solo project... i know it'll be mostly the rappers + kookie to do them and then Jin and V with acting, but I want to see Jimin do something solo someday... I want to hear his voice for a full song and see him do the dance he loves the most.

He belongs up there in a different way than Kookie belongs up there but he belongs up there. He was made for a spotlight and I can't wait to see him standing in the middle of one someday, on stage, about to perform his heart out with something he created entirely himself.

 

I do not doubt that day will come.
